I gave him the suggestion of having Slick Adjust his tie to let us know someone is making him do this.

I doubt that Tats would ever attend a con, unless he did it using a fake identity. He seems to be a very private person.
Tats has only shown us men claiming, obviously falsely, that hookers "choose to do it." But there are actual women who do freely choose to be hookers, exotic dancers, or pole dancers ... and they say so.
The usual radfem response to this is that these women suffer from "false consciousness" or that their minds have been "colonized" by the Patriarchy.
But if Tats delivers that excuse ... isn't that mansplaining?

Tats has a rare disability that causes him to be unable to keep his metaphors from becoming literal and completely fuck over any point he may have had.
Because now in Sinfest prostitution is an undesirable profession because you have to service zombies. He can't even do a simple strawman right!

Yes, OldSinfest had extended story arcs. I loved the one about Squig
going on a Hero's Journey
and the parallel bit about paying off his debt to Li'l Evil. I thought the extended
adoration
of BarackStar was ... not as wonderful
.

Well, golly! That was so hilarious I almost fell off my chair!
Oh, wait. No ...that was somebody else. And he was reading Dilbert.

Roundbird with knives. Knife Bird.
Tats, I commend you! You have persuaded me, and you have changed my life!
Until I read your Chick Tract, I had intended to become a shambling, drooling Johnbie whose only goal was to degrade innocent, terrified women. But then I began to worry. "Hmm. As attractive as that transformation might seem, if Tats is warning against it then perhaps I ought to give it a second thought!"
And Tats was right! I am cut out for much better things than that! I'm going to become a politician, so I can screw thousands of people at a time instead of just one!
How? I didn't reference it to spread dissension here, I simply pointed out that Tats' usual fans are generally unhappy with the direction of the comic and with Tats' "message" ... as are we.
I interpret "importing drama" as spreading controversy, arguments, and flame wars from one discussion group to another. That wasn't my intent. If my definition is incorrect, I apologize. What's your definition?
Edited by Hexapodia on Jun 29th 2018 at 3:02:22 AM
I think importing drama would be referencing flame bait on other forums, or using comments from another forums to add fuel to an already flamey subject.
It could be a border case, though. Maybe we should ask a mod?
Edit: I just read the rules, and it probably doesn't count.

: Let's be fair, DC Comics pulled something similar to the second Barackstar adoration strip not long after with Kalel AKA Calvin Ellis of Earth 23
.
Fun fact: Earth 23's Lex Luthor, while still a White American, didn't care at all about Kalel's African-American-esque appearance or how his enmity with said superhero causes him to be Mistaken for Racist. The reason he hates this Superman is completely unrelated to his appearance and doesn't even qualify as Fantastic Racism: He honestly believes that Superman is really a "smug fascist bully" who pretends to otherwise.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. One of the things that bothered me a bit when Tats transitioned the comic to WokeSinfest was the portrayal of ordinary men as devils. Oh, sure — they looked human most of the time, but when they were doing things that Tats considered evil they transformed into actual devils, with horns and demonic powers. (This is in addition to the male and female devils employed by Satan.)
One of the things that bothers me a lot about the current arc is that men — possibly all men, we don't know yet — are depicted as slobbering, shambling, disgusting zombies. These despicable creatures are longer human ... and it's okay to destroy them.
Depicting one's opponents as debased subhuman creatures who deserve only death is an old, old propaganda strategy, one that's especially common in wartime. It's used to desensitize the people on your own side about killing the Enemy — hey, it's not like we're killing people, is it? Although the trope still survives today in several places, the practice reached its peak between 1935 and 1945, and both sides did it ... and one particular ideology also used it to justify actual genocide.
Tats, where are you going with this? Are you taking The S.C.U.M. Manifesto a bit too seriously?

Arrgghh. "Are they or aren't they?" He's committing one of the worst sins of all: he's boring.
