How to create your own troper page
Note: if you started with a handle beginning with a number or containing an non-alphanumeric, you need to make a handle beginning with a letter and only containing alphanumerics.
- Click on your name in a forum post of yours or click your profile picture on the upper right corner of the screen and select "Troper Page" from the drop down menu.
- On the page that appears, click on the edit button.
- Edit the page. If you want markup help, click on the "Show Markup Help" button.
- Save your changes.
- You're done. Congratulations! Give yourself a cookie.
I would also like to know how can I add tropes to my page.

Can somebody PM me help? I tried clicking on my (currently red) name and it took me to the homepage, with my handle in the url. I couldn't find anything useful in the collapsible toolbar at the top or an edit button anywhere.

Yeah, Hawaii_Knut cannot create a troper page. HawaiiKnut can.

I see that only Hawaii Knut may edit that page.
That was my original troper-name before formating my old computer last year. I was unable to log back in, claiming it wasn't connected to my e-mail, so I had to create this one.
Could a admin help me reconnect to my old troper-name in some way through PM, please?

You can't make a troper page with that handle. It contains punctuation and the system won't accept it.

So, I tried following these instructions repeatedly, only every time I do when I hit the "edit" button it redirects me to the home page and I'm not sure what's up with that...
Edit: Went back and read the thread, I can't create a page because my name starts with a number. Okay then.
Edit 2: Am I permitted to make a second account with an obviously similar name for the purposes of having a tropers page and that alone, or no?

People are permitted to make about ten sockpuppets. The rule is "don't use them to ban-evade".

I am not sure if we still have a number restriction on sockpuppets.
That said, unless you are using a sock to ban evade or double vote or any other deceptive thing you are fine.

Hi everyone, I click on my name and make an edit to try and start my contributor page but once I click save it just takes me immediately to a blank contributor page again :/ Im reaaaaally confused lol
