I lean toward the second pic, although the first one is good to show her actually using her hair to do the covering...if this trope is already behind the mature wall, then either's fine.

I think the second pic is a bit too noisy with all the random sparkles and the guy carrying her. The first one is a nice, straightforward illustration of the trope.

How is it more SFW than the current picture?

For the record, there are better pictures of Harmona from Wolfs Rain with her Godiva Hair, but I don't have the time to dig through the dvds to find one. :/

We could perhaps use the Great Fairies from Twilight Princess. Image would need cropping/resizing, of course.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.

^ Actually, that's a pretty damn good pic right there.

This image is from a movie called Lady Godiva, about Lady Godiva.

That is much more covered and the focus of the image. I like the fairy pic.

The article is very short. If the fairy image is picked, it should be cropped higher (we don't need to see her belly button, do we?), and be much smaller overall, or it will look funny on the page.

I prefer an image of the Trope Namer, though.

The trope namer, even in that picture which is very good, just looks more lewd because it's a real person. There's an element of abstraction when it's a drawn image that makes it a bit less risqué.

"Looks more lewd"? Seriously?

I prefer fairy myself.

This statement bothers me. And I bring up again the mention I made of the "wiggle room" for other pages with actual people showing bare skin on the wiki.

In my opinion, if I'm gonna be caught at work looking at this page, I'd rather be caught looking at a real actress or a model than what's on the current page. I'll be willing to compromise and settle on the fairy, even though that face gives me a few creeps.

Requesting a paper bag put over the fairy.

Really though, those lips of hers and yellowish cheeks are a bit unsettling.

Downs syndrome fairy. Heehee.

Here is an uploaded version of the Lady Godiva pic (there are presumably also drawings of Lady Godiva, if her realness is an actual problem, but I don't think it is).

The whole point of the Godiva Hair trope is censorship. We are going to censor it more?

If not this picture, which is great, the page image for Godiva Hair should depict Lady Godiva. Painting, cartoon, TV show, whatever.

Here's a couple more takes on the fairy.

Why not use a shot of the fairy from when Link is talking to her, like this perhaps? [1]

I think the fairy is much better than the actress, since I find her face creepy.

We also don't need naked women for the sake of naked women when we have less offensive alternatives that show the trope just as well.

More Hamona. Green apparently is a favorite color for Godiva hair.

EDIT: Added another.

You're right. 3 examples and they all have green hair so far.
