Hey, the image on this page was switched from Light to Axis Powers Hetalia. Personally, I think Light was a much better example. Thoughts on the matter?

It's hard to imagine a picture of Light where he appears both a protagonist and a villain (or most characters, for that matter). The Axis, however, are iconic enough that the villain part can be inferred from the flags, and the way they look gives off more of a protagonist vibe.

So basically, I'm falling back on the old 'a good example doesn't mean a good picture, and an arguable example doesn't mean a bad picture' argument.

Are they really played as villains in the series, though?

Nope. Plus the manga is too cute for anyone can be a villian.

The picture they replaced was very much JAFAAC. It's some weird screaming dude. I have no idea how it shows the trope.

How about Katros? [1] [2]

They are not, I believe. Furthermore, the Light caption told us that he was the protagonist (though it does suffer from Just A Face And A Caption.) Does anybody have an alternative image/suggestion? Maybe...the cover of a Death Note something, that clearly shows that Light is both psycho and the main character?

How about this poster?

The title makes it apparent who the protaginist is and the gun makes it obvious who is the villain.

Concept works, and I think we have the right character for the job now, but I'm unsure of how clear that picture will be when re-sized.

The picture is up. The image quality isn't that bad.

This pic's been changed for a coupla months; can we get a lock?

The current image is too big (1024x768), and I think could be replaced with something better instead of being shrunk; the fact that the show is called "Dr. Horrible's..." is important IMO. Two suggestions:

Why is there much of a problem with the size? It gets resized automatically anyway.

The file is bigger than it needs to be, which takes longer to load; and various image editing applications are better at resizing images than web browser applications. I don't know how it got there, the upload form prevents images that big from being uploaded.

That may be true, but Fast Eddie intends to resize all the images anyway with some tool, and you could always just manually resize the pictures that already exist.

What are you saying exactly?

The resize is done either way :) but I think the other picture would be better.

Neither does the current image, he is just a guy holding a gun :) The trope is "Villain Protagonist", Dr. Horrible is an obvious villain name, it's his show... don't think he needs to be kicking a puppy or whatever. The title card is the important bit, IMO, and that's a better one. (The fact that Captain Hammer is the same size as Dr. Horrible in the current image is another strike.)

How about the box art from Destroy All Humans? That seems pretty explicit.

That's a good suggestion, provided that works and tropes can have the same image.

In this case, the titles in the image shouldn't be a problem; they're related to the trope.
