This guy is completely awesome. His music usually has some kind of a message rather than "girl I am wooing you girl..." or "I cheated on you please forgive me!" or the opposite. Oh yeah an it's not about popping caps in asses nor is it really derogatory against women.

But yeah you gotta love that when he speaks you can't really anticipate what he will say. But when he says it there could be controversy. I mean this guy has so many memes which are just great for all sorts of uses.

Really I find him an original and amusing fellow. I think I can relate to him and most other people can too. He's had his ups his downs along with critics and haters. But he's got a good heart. I think Kanye is somehow both larger-than-life and a very real person.

Well? Go ahead. Finish.

Does Kanye count as a Fountain of Memes? Should we add him to the examples?

^ Man the guy loved his Mom. He was never afraid to show his Mom in public and he has strong values about things such as commitment.

Kanye is the life and soul to wherever he goes like VMA awards and even offstage. People were apparently cheering real hard for Kanye when he preformed Runaway.

That song was lol indeed. He was saying that he was an idiot, that we all act like idiots. The song was a testament to what Kanye went through this year and his track towards redemption. Kanye has always sought to rise higher like with Stronger.

His interviews like after the George Bush debacle, paint a man who may have deep seated problems which he is aware of.

@ Krack we all have some ability to judge character. It may not be full proof but deep down it exists.

I dislike applying tropes to real life, but Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas, you know.

we all have some ability to judge character. It may not be full proof but deep down it exists.
And I have the innate ability for martial arts. I'm just horrible at it.

The human race is populated almost entirely of bad judges of character. Who brought the greatest terrors known to man in charge and in power? We did.

^ Yeah some people may be bad judges of character but I don't think people can call Kanye evil. Stupid maybe but not evil. He's not in the tabloids for cheating on people or chasing after white women. Or even getting into fist fights although there was an altercation with a member of the paparazzi. But really his mistakes are on the epic comic level.

Anyways Kanye is a philanthropist and does make donations.

You say that "we did" but I don't seem to recall Africans voting in Hitler. Not everyone on Britian likes the conservatives or any one party. There is division.

Sure the sum or the majority of people may be bad judges of characters but wait! Aren't you talking about politicians? Their jobs are to decieve the public and say whatever gets them into office.

Celebrities aren't usually as apt as politicians. No these are the people who more or less get caught with their pants down at many times like with all those celeb magazines, which the public seems more interested in than politics.

I meant "we" as in the human race in general.

Africans have their own Hitler counterparts too who don't have gas chambers too, y'know.

^^ Yeah he probably is but he is successful and atleast he entertains with his epic memes.

^ Yeah but those tend to be dictatorships where the people lose their choice alltogether.

Plus corrupt parties in say Afghanistan can simply buy votes.

But really this isn't about politics.

"Me vs. Everybody-Who-Bothers-Posting" threads seems to be a common trend recently.

The same offenders keep popping up, too.

^^ Look Kanye has haters yeah sure but he's a great guy. The music industry needs someone with that kinda character without the poncy and utterly meaningless stunts of Lady Gaga heck even cracked made an article about how her shanannigans should be ignored.

People seem determined to think Kanye is an evil devil-worshiper who is part of the illuminati. Just look at the comments for the video Power. I man sure it has a message about how power corrupts which is a big difference between Kanye and many other artists. It's that he sings about stuff that goes deeper than relationship woes.

^ No not really I mean there was some thread on IJBM dedicated to being a picky eater. I think the tropers there were just expressing their dislike without aggressively attacking others.

Man at least people gotta admitt Kanye is inadvertently funny. Heck he can be intentionally funny too with his song Runaway. Like I said the audience gave Kanye a positive reaction.

Just so I can be clear, how many of you have actually listened to one of Kanye's albums?

^ I've listened to a couple of songs but never a whole album.

I've listened to Diamonds from Sierra Leone, Power, Runaway, Stronger, Homecoming, Flashing lights, Gold digger, Drunk & hot girls, Good life, Jesus walks, Touch the sky, Can't tell me nothing, Heartless, Everything I am. I think that's it.

Okay, so you've only listened to his number-one singles, which are in no way representative of his actual musical content.

Go listen to Late Registration, please.

...that came off as harsher than I meant it to.
