Expect Ganon or whoever the Big Bad is will probably get a big name, really.
Wake me up at your own risk.you know I hope the zelda movie is an original story rather than a direct adaptation of a game, that way the story would be less predictable and they would be more free to pick and chose which character they want to add wherever they're from a certain time or place in the games or not, but then again, which characters are you hoping for?
I'm hoping for Midna, Malon, Impa, Vaati, Medli, Linebeck, Saria, Ruto, the four champions, and Purah.
Oh and Tingle just for a troll pick.
I'm not saying I'm expecting all of these to appear on the movie just that they're a general bunch of characters I would like to see adapted.
They only appeared in two and a half games. So they count as deep cut status. Plus they might have potential as ambiguous avatars of the three goddesses.
Also, Malon as an Ascended Extra type. A ordinary young girl caught up in the epic fantasy stuff and serving as a grounding figure for Link (who might go a variety of directions as far as being detached from his previous life is) and Zelda (usually a princess, usually aware of her Chosen One status, likely to be self-sacrificial) in their quests (and a source of shipping related red herrings).
Also wouldn't hurt to have a secondary antagonist. Vaati and Null being good candidates for different reasons.

I can't speak for Azure, but I actually liked STT. It's definitely my favorite dungeon in MM and one of the 5 dungeons I liked the most in the series. That said, it does have some annoying parts, like having to play the Elegy of Emptiness in that switch maze to open a door or having to fly from point A to point B when traversing the dungeon upside down. For all the good things it has, it's still not perfect (and I found the boss pretty disappointing).
135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311I'm being sincere.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent. The Stone Tower Temple is both my favorite dungeon in MM and among my top 5 favorite dungeons in the series. I especially liked the Inverted Temple segment because of it drastically changed the layout of each room, despite the dungeon map remaining the same. It was one of the most clever designs of any dungeon, imo.
Only Vah Medoh, the City in the Sky, and the Wind Temple were better.
Yeah, the general opinion is that the Stone Tower Temple is the best dungeon in MM and a highlight of the series overall
Bewitching EyesThat being said, I prefer Snowhead Temple overall. Stone Tower Temple is a very well put-together dungeon, sure, but the boss is a bit of a letdown, whereas Snowhead is consistently solid the whole way through, and the boss fight against Goht nails the landing at the end.
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.Stone Temple Pilots is just dripping with lore and interesting structures and designs, as if it was suppose to be further explained or more directly connected to the world but they went with Show Don't Tell. Like that weird face structure with the hand and flame on it. You don't specifically design that for shits and giggles. There had to be something you were implying there but didn't say.
-Witty line-
don't you mean it made a lot of Epileptic Trees like being Zelda's version of the Tower of Babel.
…Well the Deku Statue doesn't do anything for gameplay, per se… but I'd argue its real impact is more furthering the puzzle pieces falling into place about the original Deku who lost his life prior to the events of the game, giving us the closest thing we're going to get at his original look.
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad. Some years ago, I was thinking of how they could have given a clever use of the Deku statue, and I came up with the following:
In one of the parts during the climb through the Stone Tower, you play the EOE in one of the movable platforms as Deku Link, then press the button that raises it and keep it pressed with another statue, and then use the Hookshot to latch onto the statue and stand on the platform it's in.
EDIT: To be clear, the above is a purely hypothetical scenario. There's no part in the game where you can actually do that.

135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311I kinda wish they added more places where you use the other dungeon songs. They don't really serve any other purpose. You use the Sonata of Awakening to get the Captain's Hat, but that's about it.
Bewitching EyesBeen playing The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom these last few days. Beat the Gerudo dungeon and am in the Zora dungeon.
Game's OK, I think I enjoyed the LA remake more, and it's not entirely based on nostalgia since I don't think I played the original Link's Awakening and only played the DX version on 3DS. I just don't like the BotW/TotK-style menu, it's a consistent annoyance that makes me not want to engage with the titular echoing mechanic.
While I wouldn't say this game is bad, it's certainly well made and looks great, it has some of the weakest first few hours in any Zelda game I've ever played thus far. Just no juice.

Miyamoto confirms that Live Action Zelda and Link for the 2027 movie will be Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth respectively
