You can still find fairies in the grass, provided you don't have too many in your inventory. In some areas, cutting grass will get you wheat or rice, as well as crickets, lizards, and frogs.
question: do you get better meals if you combine different ingredients with the same effect or if you just stack a bunch of the same ingredients?
Migrated to Chloe Jessica!I believe mixing different ingredients increases the effect, but using more of the same increases the duration. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I think it's the other way around. And of course any Hearty item is a Game-Breaker; rather than cooking them into meals, you should cook each one individually, and then you have a full-heal that also gives one or two bonus hearts.
late game that's the best thing to do, but early game the extra hearts are more useful because you don't have enough base hearts to make the most out of a full heal.
Migrated to Chloe Jessica!Adding more ingredients with the same effect increases both the potency and the duration of food, but it doesn't matter if it's a different kind of ingredient with the same effect or more of the exact same ingredient. ie. A dish made from 1 Mighty Bananas, 1 Razorshroom, and 1 Mighty Bass is identical in function to a dish made from 3 Mighty Bananas.
Adding neutral ingredients increases the duration by a small amount, adding ingredients with different effects completely negates all effects (which results Dubious Food if the result would have been an elixir, but normal health restoring food otherwise), Monster Parts increase the duration by larger amounts (weirdly the strength of the monster has nothing to do with how helpful they are, Bokoblin Guts and Lynel Guts both add 3 minutes 10 seconds to the timer), and certain "seasoning" type foods (milk, spice, sugar, eggs) add a larger boost to the duration if they are the only one of their kind in the meal.
We finally get a look at what Wart looks like in the Link's Awakening remake!
Yep, that's definitely Wart.
It's been 3000 years…Unfounded dismay at him possibly being gone is now completely gone.
Excellent.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.My personal feelings about the return of the hippo model.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Y'ever wanna walk into a magic fountain where a large cackling woman offers to ease your weariness?
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening overview trailer
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. For those wanting to skip directly to the video and pass on the (admittedly brief) article:
Do you think we might end up getting Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons remakes in the same style?
I missed the part where that's my problem. Not likely, they'll likely go to much older titles (not zelda 2 though, never that one)
New theme music also a boxMaybe not the exact same style. I'm pretty sure the puppet/clay-mation presentation is supposed to hint at the true nature of Koholint Island, since the intro appears to use a more anime/cartoon art-style.

"If you are going through hell, keep going." - Winston ChurchillI'm more hopeful for a For the Frog the Bell Tolls remake, honestly.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I’d personally like a Super Mario Bros 2 remake in that artstyle.
It's been 3000 years…People keep saying that the characters in the Link's Awakening remake look like toys, but... that's just how Nintendo games look when they're not doing a gimmicky art style. Super Mario 3D World has those same plasticky textures. As for the characters' proportions, that's how they looked in the Game Boy original too.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?no... they definitely look like toys. it isn't just the plasticy textures. the models are made that way too.
it isn't a bad thing, though. i love it.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeIf it's not the textures and it's not the proportions, then what is it?
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?3D World doesn't have a plastic-like texture unless the characters are wet.
They look like plastic toys, that's...all?

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I also think they look like toys but don't view that as a negative. It's pretty cute actually.
It is the proportions and the textures, but it's also the Black Bead Eyes.
In addition to my previous post, though, break all the pots, and I mean all of them.
The NPCs won't react other than if you smash one near it, which will cause the NPC to flinch, but it's still a way to find occasional goodies like in the previous games.
