Because Kinkajou told me to.
So yeah, anything about Final Fantasy! I guess this would make a good starting point: Which are your favorite games in the series and why?
My two all-time favorites are tied between Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy IX. They're both very fun games that don't take themselves too seriously while still being legitimately emotional. On top of that, Zidane is my favorite Final Fantasy lead in the entire series. He's light-hearted, fun, and a generally nice guy to be around. FFV also has the advantage of having one of, if not the best, Job System in an FF game. Both FFV and FFIX make characters customizable while keeping them all unique in their own way. I'm also very fond of Final Fantasy I; it hasn't aged well, but it's classic, and like FFV, I played it tons as a kid.
I assume we'll drift around to various other FF-related discussions as the topic grows, right?

@ fanart spam on the previous page: THAT LAST ONE. OMG. I cannot stop laughing.

My roommmate is in the process of making a video in which every time Snow says Serah's name, Lightning appears and punches him. We get way too much joy out of Snow getting punched in the face.
I forget how I beat the first but I beat the second by lucking out with Zodiark.
It's also a major inconsistency. :I
Umbran Climax◊Snow's cool, but considering that the player knows how irritated Hope is, a lot of his lines make me want to facepalm. >_>
Hope: So, you're saying there's no point to fighting?
Snow: Not if you die. :P
Hope: D:<
~~~
Snow: The army's no match for NORA!
Nora Esthiem: *died to the army*
Hope: D:<
Hope is kind of unreasonable for blaming Snow instead of Sanctum, but I can understand why he'd consider killing Snow. :P
@Irueru: I only used it for the last battle. So awesome.
One has to wonder why Hope didn't get Alexander for that part. It would make total sense for Alex to show up because Hope was still conflicted about killing Snow; murderous rage(irrational or no) doesn't seem like something that should fade away so easily.
Umbran Climax◊(Hours Earlier in the game)
Hope: My dad doesn't care about me at all. D:
(Later)
Hope's Dad: OH GOD, MY SON! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, I'VE BEEN WORRIED SICK!
Hope: ...Mom's dead.
Hope's Dad: D: *manly tears*
Hope: ...Well, I guess I should be leaving. Don't want you to get arrested for harboring fugitives.
Hope's Dad: THE F!CK WITH THAT! You are my son and this is your home!
Me: ...What a prick. :I
Yeah but his dad is always at work, clearly it's because he secretly hates his son.
Also, money grows on trees.
Umbran Climax◊Mwahaha. And Enuo is down!
Without the use of Spellblade or Dualcast, I might add. Though the former of the two was omitted by accident.
Of course, I may have resorted to something almost as broken: Mixing.
Oh god, the Goliath Tonic is amazing when you can apply it to the whole party. Enuo simply could not take anybody down in one shot, unless he Stoned them or turned them into a Zombie.
I have a message from another time...Gotta say though. Getting stoned was the worst thing that could happen during that fight.
It came off easily enough, but it dispelled everything. Haste? Gone. Everything from Mighty Guard? Gone. Zombie was less of a pain.
Faris really came through in that fight. Mighty Guard, White Wind, Mind Blasting Enuo, Jumping Enuo... Say what you will about Blue Magic's offensive options, but it is a very fun magic... sometimes.
I have a message from another time...Of course they're the most valuable, the what comes with being an Elite Tweak.
I want to smack Snow upside the head. Literally every word that comes out of his mouth gets Hope more and more pissed off. How does he not notice that the kid is giving him the death glare CONSTANTLY?
