I have an idea about Healing spells and how they work. Basically, at each number of water elements, there's a range of percentages of your max HP that can be healed. So, at 49 water elements and 338 HP, I can heal 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 60, or 61 HP. These correspond roughly with 15% (50.7) 16% (54.08), 17% (57.48), and 18% (60.84) of max HP.
So, it seems that after about 50 trials, I'm getting numbers distributed roughly around 17% of HP, with the most common number being 55 and the second most common being 60.
Interesting. Want to help me figure this out so I can built that roleplay? Do you have AIM?
Quest 64 threadSo, going to be gone for most of the day, but I got a chance to do a bit more training:
HP: 343, MP: 71, Def: 105, Agl: 60
Elements: 50 Fire, 2, Earth, 50 Water, 50 Wind
Going to try to get my defense to 125 before I start up the tower. I'll probably make two trips into the tower though, which will allow me to train a bit more between Guilty and Beigis.
Alright. Knock him dead!
Also, I got almost every card in the latest Yugioh all Star Foil. Only 30 out of 220 cards left!
That's exactly what I'm doing. His long range attack is dealing 15-18 damage, and I'm doing 17-21 with each hit of Wind Cutter 3, for around 100 damage a pop. I should be able to beat him without healing.
And he died to 22 uses of Wind Cutter 3. I still had close to 100 HP left.
Max HP is now 413.

Nice.
Also, a person called Midna got unbanned and he might join the conversation here. He's working on the script.
Quest 64 threadWork on your defense and magic and you'll be fine.
I'd suggest... ...crap, you have no good training method here... oh, here's one! Red Wyverns, only use Homing Arrow 1 and 2.
Quest 64 threadYeah, but it'll be useful for you to heal in other battles.
And have enough HP to do magical damage.
Quest 64 threadAs in you have enough magic to... deal damage without running out. That way if you get swamped with battles, you'll have a lot for healing as well.
Quest 64 threadMight as well keep it up so you don't get swamped. World of Mammon has some pretty powerful monsters after all.

It's all fine. No need to apologize or anything.
