This seems like a reasonable TLP proposal, so reasonable that it doesn't really require a TRS thread. Moving examples that fit a subtrope off the supertrope and onto the subtrope is a free action. Go for it!

I am requesting splitting off examples of black cats and bad luck into a separate trope page for them. A TLP draft
has been made.
The current stats for Cat Stereotype are as follows:
Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 12,418 people to the wiki from non-search engine links. It's currently in the top 5% most viewed articles this week at rank #15685 with 222 views.
There are multiple reasons for the split. The trope is very well-known in multiple cultures and is an established motif of cats. Of all the coat colors, it is the first thing that comes to mind with a cat and specific coat color. And unlike Cat Stereotype, which is geared to the personalities of cats, this entails a superficial quality. This makes it on par with similar tropes like Cats Have Nine Lives and All Witches Have Cats. It also balances out with another trope about cats having an association with luck—Maneki Neko—and it has a wider cultural reach. There are enough examples to stand on its own as an article plus examples that play with the trope.
