The issue
Hard-to-Emulate Software is a "trope" that refers to any form of software (usually Video Games) that ranges being anywhere from difficult to virtually impossible to accurately reproduce on non-native hardware, usually due to the hardware itself being uniquely designed. Currently, its entire list of write-ups are behind-the-scenes Real Life cases for various works and platforms, with nary an In-Universe example to be seen. Given that its usage as an actual storytelling trope is already more or less covered by No Backwards Compatibility in the Future, I feel this page is much better suited to being listed as Trivia, especially given its strong relation to Keep Circulating the Tapes.Summary
Hard-to-Emulate Software refers to behind-the-scenes information regarding the technology behind a work/platform, bearing no relation to the narrative or storytelling. Thus, it should be recategorized as Trivia. Sincerely, Lumberwood
