The issue

Hard-to-Emulate Software is a "trope" that refers to any form of software (usually Video Games) that ranges being anywhere from difficult to virtually impossible to accurately reproduce on non-native hardware, usually due to the hardware itself being uniquely designed. Currently, its entire list of write-ups are behind-the-scenes Real Life cases for various works and platforms, with nary an In-Universe example to be seen. Given that its usage as an actual storytelling trope is already more or less covered by No Backwards Compatibility in the Future, I feel this page is much better suited to being listed as Trivia, especially given its strong relation to Keep Circulating the Tapes.

Summary

Hard-to-Emulate Software refers to behind-the-scenes information regarding the technology behind a work/platform, bearing no relation to the narrative or storytelling. Thus, it should be recategorized as Trivia.

This was already intended to be Trivia, as indicated by the sponsor here, so it can just be added to the Trivia index (which I'll do). Closing.

I got a rock for Halloween.
