Agreed that's it's more Accidental Innuendo.
Also, I watch BFDI so I know that these two are the same gender, but would that be clear to someone who doesn't watch BFDI?

Again, is it clear that these two are the same gender? Objects in BFDI tend to lack Tertiary Sexual Characteristics.

Yeah, this feels like it'll be hard to illustrate unless two male or two female characters have Tertiary Sexual Characteristics (like eyelashes if they're girls), which I'm not sure how often that happens in BFDI since I know little about the series.
Feels like this is edging towards "no pic for now" territory.

Wuewuewuewuewueing my way to the bank.
IIRC none of the characters have eyelashes, and there are very few with tertiary sexual characteristics, with the only ones immediately coming to mind being Flower (pink flower) and Puffball (pink and fluffy). I would suggest a pic of Flower and Ruby as you could argue that pretty gemstone = feminine not to mention it's my favorite ship, but the wiki doesn't have a good picture available and I'm admittedly too lazy to hunt through nearly a hundred episodes for a good screenshot.
So I'd say leave it imageless for now.
Inconsistently active.
I don't know if I'd say its clear, and even then, Algebraliens have No Biological Sex, so Four and X qualifying as Ho Yay despite using he/they pronouns is a bit dubious.

Yeah, I'd think having female Tertiary Sexual Characteristics would be the way to go here.
Remember that, even for subpages of works, images should make sense to those unfamiliar with the work and its characters.

I suggest we use this.
