The Burden of Knowing All

Private Ahmet Yilmaz stood at attention, his eyes fixed on the horizon as the scorching Turkish sun beat down on the military outpost. It was supposed to be a routine day of guard duty, but everything changed in an instant.

Suddenly, Ahmet's mind exploded with knowledge. He could see everything, know everything. The past, present, and future unfolded before him like an intricate tapestry. He knew the thoughts of every soldier in the base, the location of every piece of equipment, and even the exact moment when the coffee in the mess hall would run out.

Overwhelmed, Ahmet stumbled backward, catching the attention of his best friend, Corporal Mehmet.

"Ahmet! Are you okay?" Mehmet rushed to his side, concern etched on his face. They had been inseparable since basic training, sharing dreams of serving their country and eventually opening a kebab shop together.

Ahmet looked at Mehmet, his eyes wide with shock. "I... I know everything, Mehmet. Everything."

As Ahmet tried to explain his newfound omniscience, a shadowy figure watched from afar. Colonel Kemal, a high-ranking officer with a hidden agenda, had been planning a coup for months. He had meticulously arranged for weapons to be smuggled into the base, bribed key personnel, and was moments away from initiating his takeover.

Ahmet suddenly understood the weight of his new abilities. It was as if he had been granted the role of an all-seeing deity, responsible for the fate of not just the base, but potentially the entire nation. The power coursed through him, both a blessing and a curse.

As Ahmet grappled with his newfound responsibility, Colonel Kemal burst into the main courtyard, flanked by a group of armed soldiers. "Attention!" he bellowed, his voice echoing off the walls. "This base is now under new command!"

Chaos erupted as loyal soldiers clashed with the conspirators. Ahmet, armed with his omniscience, began to act. He whispered crucial information to key personnel, guiding them to counter Kemal's moves before they happened.

As the conflict unfolded, Ahmet's actions seemed almost prescient to those around him. However, his fellow soldiers didn't question his sudden tactical genius, attributing it to his known talent for strategy and quick thinking honed during countless war games and simulations.

In the command center, Ahmet's gaze fell upon a bulletin board covered with newspaper clippings. Headlines about regional tensions, political maneuverings, and military exercises painted a clear picture of the events leading up to this moment. In a flash, he understood the complex web of motivations behind Kemal's actions.

With this knowledge, Ahmet orchestrated a brilliant counter-strategy. He guided loyal forces to key positions, exposed hidden conspirators, and ultimately cornered Colonel Kemal.

As the dust settled and Kemal was led away in handcuffs, Mehmet approached Ahmet with awe in his eyes. "How did you do it? How did you know exactly what to do?"

Ahmet looked at his friend, the weight of the world's knowledge heavy on his shoulders. He realized that this power, this cosmic responsibility, would forever change his life. With a sad smile, he replied, "Sometimes, Mehmet, knowing everything isn't as great as it seems."
