I dunno, I'd rather keep the current on Prince Charming and look for something that covers a few different prince tropes for Princely Tropes. We may have to go down the collage route but ideally I'd like to try and cover, like, at least good princes and bad ones in one image.
Fair enough, I can try throwing a compilation for Princely Tropes later.
Also hollering to fix title.
I tried editing screenshots from this video
that animates some of the audio from a Jerma985 clip into an scene. But I realise it looks kinda off at wiki size:

Now Monitoring Query Bugs and Query WishlistI think the one on Prince Charming is fine. I'm currently trying to come up with a collage to suggest for Princely Tropes.
EDIT: Here's a collage attempt where I've tried to place different kinds of princes from different genres (admittedly I couldn't automatically think of all 4 examples). I kind of struggled with finding one to fill the last slot; I tried finding something from live action media or an alien prince to balance it out but I couldn't find anything that looked even remotely like a prince of some sort. I hope the one I ultimately chose was princely enough? If not, by all means please suggest something else as I'm not familiar with the live-action genre (I know next to nothing about Warz Gill for example, but thought their design seemed like it would fit the mix).
Clockwise from top left: Prince Charming, Prince Peasley, Seagull Prince (with Seagull King), Warz Gill

Keep current for Prince Charming
I like the idea of using a collage for Princely Tropes but

. Other than the guy in the top-right, none of them look princely enough without context. Not to mention one image features two characters which I personally don't advise adding an image with 2 characters in a collage (not actually an IP rule I suggest sticking with one character per image for stuff like this).

Currently semi-active.Double post but here are 2 collages I whipped out. I tried my best to feature a couple of princes from different cultures, species, mediums, moralities, etc.

Or if you don't mind 6 characters...
9.2 (wanted to include a real life historical example)

I did consider adding Prince Blueblood instead of that last one, but didn't as it felt like a repeat of the first one but as a pony and the work/franchise already had plenty of page images and the one currently there was the next thing I could think of (I went for "human prince, fictional prince, alien prince, animal prince"). I was trying to go for a variety in design and genre (to help show the flexibility of what a "prince" is) and thought the one with 2 characters was helped with such by adding visual context (in the sense of "one has a big crown and looks like a king, so the other one with the little crown must be the prince").
Saw you happened to post inbetween. Tbh the one with the crown looks more like a king and only the ones with swords out seem to scream "prince" to me (so the boy in the blue shirt and the guy with the clearly regal clothing). I don't see how the rest are princes outside their names, e.g. one just looks like a painting.

That image of Prince John is already on Still Sucks Thumb, so it might help to change it to a different image of him.
13.1 (replaced top left and middle right)

Clock expired. 13 is in and tagged on Princely Tropes, caption?

As noted here
, the images on Princely Tropes and Prince Charming are almost the exact same image, just with an art style change. The one on Princely Tropes is much smaller and has a few artifacts, and the Prince Charming one is size-compliant and all that.
