Saw the post credits It's hilarious that they are making Stern say that there are "other worlds" as if it would be a surprise to Sam. Like no duh, Earth has been publicly invaded by aliens like 3 times, and there's a giant cosmic god sticking out of the ocean. He probably means a multiverse but picked poor words that made it seem like he was saying "water is wet"
@Moroaica, regarding Falcon and the Winter Soldier:
I'd argue that that's not quite what happened.
Yes, USAgent was treated sympathetically—but he was also portrayed as being very much in the wrong. (Note how our protagonists pretty much want nothing to do with him, and that he scuttles at least one attempt to resolve the conflict with the Flag Smashers non-violently.
As to the Flag Smashers, as I recall it they were depicted as being pretty thoroughly justified in what they wanted. The reason that they became antagonists was due to their methods, not their goals.
So hardly a case of "evil leftists".
My Games and Asset PacksExpect that it has been doing well at the box office so far. Exactly what most sites predicted.
Again, it's only been out for a day and a half, it's too early to go "Yep this is going to flop".
As a side note, I put little faith in Cinemascores.

Expect those all cost a lot more.
Is also right in my opinion?

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadThe post-credit scene reminds me of that one from the Arrowverse, Part 3 of Elseworlds where Psycho Pirate randomly says, "Worlds will live. Worlds will die. And the universe will never be the same." I'm not saying Marvel copied it, but it's just as cheesy and blatant as Samuel Sterns' spiel.
True.

Though at least those lines come from the comic they are teasing.
It seems like this movie has just offended a lot of people for a number of reasons.
1) Being a Hulk movie with no Hulk
2) following up on plot points from movies and shows most didn't care for
3) Not being particularly special
4) the usual this is too woke complaints (I'm not actually sure if that's happened, but it usually does for some reason so I'm listing it).
I liked it. I said before that I went to watch a movie with Falcon Samerica fighting the Red Hulk, and that's what I got. But it looks like many are not satisfied.
I'm still here for the MCU. I guess I've just never gotten out of holy shit, live action super hero movies that are consistently good mentality. I'm loving seeing who they're gonna adapt next, and how they're gonna streamline things for the next character.
It's a real shame these movies don't seem to be doing it for others.
One Strip! One Strip!2 is a dumb reasoning (I'm not saying its your reasoning; I just think the idea that the movie following up on plot threads, which is kind of the point of the MCU to do that, annoying people is dumb), and I'd LIKE to say 4 isn't as prevalent as those types of people would want us to think, but... Well, I can't say the but on Tvtropes.
Anyway, without going too much into... Is Red Hulk being in the movie basically just an excuse to have a fight with A Hulk without undoing Bruce's character development as THE Hulk?

Sabra's actress is also one that I feel is a bit miscast. Is it weird that I believe in giant Red Hulk monsters but think she being capable of taking down an entire room of heavily armed soldiers while unarmed strains credulity?
Guns exist for a reason.
Did a good job and I just wish she'd been another character or even an original.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I have seen a shocking number of reviews basically going "Incredible Hulk came out years ago so following up on the obvious setups from it is weird and stupid, and it's the movie's fault that I personally don't remember what happened in it."
Yeah, the movie's sixteen years old, but it's not like it was unable to be viewed in that period of time.
I swear, these people would never survive reading actual comic books. Do movies need the Note from Ed. now?
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonIf she was a mutant and/or super soldier I wouldn't be taking note of it.
I do think this movie will inspire more discussion than might be expected, especially about Ross and his supposed "changing."
I don't think he changed at all.

Honestly, I think it's an excuse for these critics. I don't recall any complaints of Infinity War requiring you to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, Black Panther, Spider-Man Homecoming, Thor Ragnorak, and Captain America Civil War just to get context of what's going on in the film

He definitely hasn't, everything he does here is pure piece of shit behavior.
Which makes all the sympathy given towards him unwarranted, he doesn't deserve it. He's still the same bastard who hunted down Bruce partly out of vindicative hatred for his daughter loving him.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think Ross wants to change. He's just real shitty at it, hence
's observation.
He was after all, negotiating a lengendary deal among nations to share a new resource, rather than trying to scoop it up for the US, and he came to Sam about reforming the Avengers because he recognized their value after how they basically saved the entire !@#$%-ing universe.
Because here's the thing: I don't think Ross is still a piece of shit and Ross wants to change are mutually exclusive. Changing yourself after you've been the shittiest person is shitsville is hard. Especially when you're as shitty a person as Ross is and when you've still got so many skeletons in the closet.
But he was clearly desperate to do something good, and move away from his Hulk Hunter past, and his heart attack only added to that, because now he likely felt he was on a clock.
I think that desire is there. He honestly seemed a lot more reasonable than he was in previous movies.....even if he still kept Isiah in prison for the assassination attempt.
So my judgement is piece of shit who wants to be better, but is bad at it due to being a piece of shit.
One Strip! One Strip!

I think everyone prefers Winter Soldier.
I wish Marvel took away from the emotional stakes for this movie.
