Should the Dedication trope be considered a trivia trope or a non-trivia trope?

I think that since it appears in the work itself, it's considered a trope and not trivia.

Yeah, Dedication is In Memoriam's supertrope.

Doing a quick look through Dedication's examples though, a lot of them are In Memoriam wicks (dedications to a recently deceased person, particularly one who had a connection to the work in question), so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to look over the wicks anyway?
