Keep until a Better Image is found.
Suffice to say, a suitable replacement would be looking for magazines talking about special effects. There's plenty of monster and sci-fi movies that are only remembered for the special effects and monster make up. The problem is finding a magazine that claims, "Go see this movie because it has these cool effects".
Not a perfect suggestion, but it's worth a try.

This Image Is Not an Example applies here.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested. And I don't think
is an improvement.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested; even if the movie’s not a true example, the image still conveys the idea of “known for one gimmick”—it promotes it on the basis of it being the first CGI animated film, rather than any other merits. ![]()

took me a bit to understand, since the relevant text is small and pushed to the bottom of the screen.

Ah, I see. Withdrawing my original concerns then —
Keep Until Better Image Suggested

So I began searching for posters and magazines that were all about advertising anything but story, and I found this one for Fantasia which advertise stereophonic sound with a tagline "The ultimate in sight and sound".
Unlike Toy Story, Fantasia has no real overarching plot. It's just an excuse for Disney to showcase stereophonic sound and how animation can mimic the flow of the music.

Once Upon A Time.Bump for more opinions: either 17.1 or 18.1 might work for me.

I know it was chosen in a previous IP thread
, but I don't believe the image on Dancing Bear is very illustrative of the trope. It shows that Toy Story 1 was the first fully CGI animated film, but it does not illustrate the only known for it part very well — a key part of the trope.
On top of that, it isn't even really an example, as Toy Story 1 is hardly only known for being fully CGI — the movie has a 100% critics score and 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, was Pixar's first film and the one that put them on the map, and is generally considered a classic of animated cinema of The '90s.
Don't have any other suggestions TBH, and I'm not sure this trope would otherwise be easy to illustrate.
