Ah I see what you mean, here we go:
I get where you are coming from but I don't see anything in the trope description where it says "princesses wears pink and none royals don't" it does seem to read as "we put our main princess character in pink because of marketing reasons/to highlight her femininity".

I did have another idea though:
I can swap different Princess Peaches in if needed and move them around. I just liked the idea of showing a consistent colour preference rather than just one outfit.
