Doing a lot of sidequests I missed...which were a lot.
One rift only appears if you do a sidequest....that sneaky Null!
The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm somewhat surprised nobody's mentioned the similarity between Null and the Snarl from The Order of the Stick.
A piece of work done by a niche internet micro celebrity.
Gah, sorry. I just spend time on parts of the internet that think everything is a Homestuck reference. HOMESTUCK ISN'T A QUARTER AS POPULAR AS YOU THINK IT IS, HOMESTUCK FANS. IT'S NOT ONE TENTH.
You are not alone.
I'm not bringing it up to claim it's a reference. I'm bringing it up because the ideas are very similar (albeit, one of the works isn't complete.)
Edit: To put it another way, we're on TV Tropes; it's not weird to talk about the similarities of two works here, especially since there aren't that many other works with the same similarity.

Eh, I disagree. There have been several entities similar across a lot of different mediums. (I'm sure Doctor Who's taken one out.) We probably have a trope for it somewhere.
You are not alone.I feel like Null is closer to THE END from Sonic Frontiers or Void Termina from Kirby Star Allies.
The Protomen enhanced my life.It did remind me a little of Homestuck's "the universe has cancer" thing too.
The Protomen enhanced my life.To quote PeanutButterGamer, this game is probably the wrongest I've ever been about anything. Oh, how I griped and groaned after that Direct! And now Echoes of Wisdom is gradually inching into my top-five Zelda list. And now I'm hearing there's Homestuck references too?! This must be a person-shaped hole at Amigara Fault, because it was made for me!
Anyway, I'm four dungeons in. Just rescued the King. I think I'ma do the Deku dungeon next. Can you believe I only just realized you can go into those small, non-plot-relevant rifts all over the map to get more energy for Tri? I scored my fifth triangle this afternoon!
Also, I feel they should've named the game after the rifts and not the echoes. Maybe they could've called it Tears of the Kingdom (The Other Kind of Tears This Time).
They're phonetically different!
But yeah this game kicks ass It's easily swinging with the best of the Zelda franchise.
You are not alone.Finished the game. Found out I was only missing three Echoes when all was done so it only took like a minute to grab them.
Still digesting the story. I know the Ganon that was fought in the Hyrule Castle basement was an echo, but I'm not 100% sure the one Link fought in the opening was too. Is there a chance that was the original? I also wonder why this is the only time Null has been an issue, and wonder if Ganon helped free it. I also wonder if Null exists in all timelines, he probably does, but then this is the only one where it got destroyed. Actually, I'm not absolutely certain this Null is 100% destroyed to the point where it can never come back. I also wonder if there's a connection between Null and Calamity Ganon from Breath of the Wild as there are similarities, and we still don't have an explanation where Calamity Ganon came from, especially with Tears of the Kingdom making clear that Ganondorf also exists as an entity separate from Calamity Ganon.
I had to clean up
some speculative troping about Null cause people thought it was just reimprisoned or only gone for a little while. The key is the part of the ending where the Tris have nothing left to do and go to be with the Goddesses since their role is no longer needed with Null gone.
Pretty sure it'll be a one-shot villain like Demise was.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
I pulled on them and also summoned sharks but also have no idea which one did it in. Maybe Null forgot to breathe? XD
Just finished the game. I had no idea you could use telekinesis on the bosses, which meant I wound up doing the final boss the hard way without realizing (aside from wondering why the arms had so many hitpoints).
I had actually considered taking "Sealed in a World-Shaped Can" to the Launch Pad for a while based on things like the aforementioned OOTS, the Eldrazi from M:tG, and I'm pretty sure something from Aztec mythology whose name currently eludes me; this would be another example of that. note
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.I am still amazed by the Commercial for Majora's Mask. Never has a kid friendly game has achieved such a feeling of fear and dread with an ad.
