The image uploader isn't working for me at the moment, but I have an idea I'll upload later. The Order of The Stick example may work, but I can't think of an arrangement that uses less than 50% of the page.

The trope is about prices in video game shops are based on game progression instead of supply and demand. But the picture simply pointing how much heavy has to pay for his ammo for ridiculous amount of money.
While the picture shows the increased price, it doesn't shows how it based on game progression.
