Brought up in the Ask for Explanations thread. Without context, it just looks like a single guy in an otherwise empty street.

Good morning, and good night, I hardly ever sleep. With what I have, what else do you think I'd ever need?

Looks like the start of a dance number. I vote pull.

I say weak Keep Until Better Image Suggested. He’s clearly alone on a wide city street, which normally shouldn’t be empty under any circumstances; it suggests that something has happened that caused most people to disappear.

I agree with ^, paired with the title I can see what the pic's going for. I don't think it's worse than no pic.

Strong keep, the trope isn't about the method of depopulation it's about the effect on the plot (far fewer humans but buildings relatively untouched) which I think the image captures perfectly

[up] I don't get that from the trope description, and I don't think the examples bear it out either.

So [tup] to pulling.

Keep until better image suggested. The image could benefit from a caption.

[up][up][up]

The first sentence says (bolding from me):

"A plot device, such as a weapon (usually biological, chemical or nuclear) or a natural agent (like a plague/virus), which drastically reduces the human population in size while leaving a few charismatic survivors."

It then goes on to talk about the writing, budget, and artistic reasons for doing this. Hence my take is the trope isn't about the method, but the plot impact.

I was going to suggest moving the image to a "last man on Earth"-type trope, but I guess this is that trope. That's a slightly unintuitive name in my opinion, but keep.

Fine with keep for the above reasons.

I tried to find a map of casualty rates for the T-Virus from the Resident Evil movie franchise, but most results seem to be designs for t-shirts. =/ I think I may be misremembering, but I really thought there was an map of it in the intro to one of them.

Anyhoo, here's a couple from Night of the Comet.
