But as for on-topic, I don't have a lot of advice. Mostly I've used TVT or social media tags for that purpose, but they aren't entirely satisfactory.

reddit always seems to have hyper-specific communities, so there should be at least one community for a thing you're a fan of!
but, mostly, it's just luck of the draw. go ask people "hey, have you heard of/do you like [insert thing here]?" and if they say yes, talk to them about it! if they say no, well, enlighten them! it's kinda hard for suuuuper niche things but it can still happen!

I sometimes get the feeling of being the only one working on a story's page or really has any interest. It's pretty lonely and I wonder if anybody else gets this feeling.
For instance, I've been expanding The Midnight Library because I think it's a great little horror series, but I'm the only one editing. I'd hope this community would encourage others to get into more niche works.
Is there a way to introduce such things to other tropers?
