Multiple Fan Preferred Couples

On the Fan-Preferred Couple page, there used to be a note saying that there could only be one Fan-Preferred Couple per character. However, recently I noticed that that note was removed, which suggests that this rule has been changed. The thing is, not that long ago the Fan-Preferred Couple thread removed an example from Scott Pilgrim because while the ship was more popular than the Official Couple, it wasn't the most popular ship. So is the only one Fan-Preferred Couple rule still around or has it been changed?

This rule was removed on 30 April 2021 with an edit reason linking to this TRS thread.

The trope's description also states that multiple ships can count.

The fandom really loves to pair this character with other characters. Maybe the fandom pairs them with one particular character or ships them with various other characters.

As long as the individual; overlapping FPCs don't contradict each other, they can co-exist. ~Bullman being pretty well-versed in the trope from top to bottom would be the one to ask. Haha.

While multiple entries are fine, they are very rare, and they must all be more popular than the canon. For example, the only Scott Pilgrim pairing more popular than the canon Scott/Ramona is him and Wallace, so that is the one that gets an entry instead of him and Knives, which while has its fans is not as popular as the canon one.
