I do use R1 as the weapon switch button, essentially. (This makes no sense to people playing on PC.)
You are not alone.Blade's gameplay reminds me of Iron Fist. Before his extra health used to decay, there was no reason ever not to use Meditation at the start of the match, on respawn or just when you're not doing anything. So I wouldn't be surprised if Blade's Dhampir mode gets reworked to be temporary too. Maybe you can prolong by slashing or something.
Maybe I'm just bad at the game but I find Dhampyr mode to be way more limiting than people make it out to be. It's great at winning 1v1 scenarios, but I haven't felt that the lifesteal is potent enough to survive massive team fights or survive any 2-or-more-on-1 encounters. I basically exclusively use it as an anti-dive deterrant, as any other time I try to pull it out and go off I tend to just get mauled.
People are low key sleeping on the shotgun though. That thing is a midrange beast.
New map reveal.
NetEase has been given the green light from Marvel to create original characters for Marvel Rivals.
We may or may not see playable OC's in the future. I'm sure no one will any issue with this.
They should make a dog that's also a reindeer and can heal with his magic crystal. Some kind of Reindog

The framing of the greenlight is weird because it's being treated as if NetEase has been given permission now, when it's far more likely that they've always had permission. Which is consistent with how Marvel's handled Canon Foreigners from other companies (including NetEase). Hell, Marvel's probably enthusiastic about it because of their propensity to upgrade these characters into Canon Immigrants which can then be repurposed elsewhere - Luna Snow's one of the bigger examples of this in recent years. The only issue is NetEase potentially overdoing it, but even then Marvel usually has final approval of characters so they'd likely cap it off themselves.
LMAO
I rather they take their chances of rather obscure characters rather than outright OCs.
Look at how Blackheart and Shuma-Gorath have gained a cult following thanks to their appearance in the VS Capcom games

Blade is a bit odd because I feel I might as well never turn off Dhampir mode unless Im shooting or getting a heal.
