Oh I agree it was a dumb idea. I just want it to be clear that it was apparently Disney's dumb idea that they proceeded to let Zegler take the blame for.
Though, since they also hired Gal I am not shocked that they are out of touch.

Just Makima.Today, I'm sure most people don't care about that line, and are now just upset that Cyclops was played by James Marsden.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book! That looks like a sculpture of a dwarf I'd see at some fairy tale-themed park.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book!As the memetic Chat Music video says, Making the dwarfs look like PS 1 Hagrid sure was a bold choice.

Watch SymphogearBlame Peter Dinklage.
He went on a Tirade about the usage of Dwarf Actors to portray the Seven Dwarves because he thought they were stereotypes of real world Dwarfism....even though the Dwarves are based on earlier, fictional Dwarves. He even said the dwarves live in a cave, but they lived in a cottage and mistook their mine for their home.
Said Tirade led to him being called out by other Dwarf actors for essentially locking them out of a role that they wanted to have as well as Peter Dinklage's hypocrisy due to being the most well paid actor in Hollywood for portraying Stereotypical Dwarfs in many of his prior roles like Elf and Game of Thrones.
Later set photos showed that prior to the CGI dwarves, Disney cast random non dwarf actors for the roles instead as a response to Peter Dinklages Tirade, and everyone mocked Disney for it, so they just said fuck it and made the Dwarves CGI instead.

Watch SymphogearNot really by most accounts beyond the Dwarfs filming and production went well. It's more accurate to say "cursed promotion". Which again is all Disney's fault from them making Zegler say dumb things only to leave to take the blame or hiring a bad actress Gal Gadot as the most iconic character from the original film.

I mean, I don't really think it's fair to blame Dinklage, whether you agree with what he said or not. He's advocating for more non-stereotypical portrayals of Dwarfs/Dwarves, not for there to be less roles overall. Disney just took what he said, assuming they did what they did in response, and responded to it in the worst way.
Besides, in Elf he doesn't play a stereotypical dwarf (the entire joke is that he's just a normal person who Buddy thinks is a stereotypical dwarf) and Tyrion, though falling under certain stereotypes like the 'Drunken, lecherous dwarf' is also beyond a stereotype.

The Magic Mirror is arguably so iconic that it's become divorced from Snow White itself.
Like, I think a lot of people consider it something more universal that appears in Snow White rather than something from Snow White.
Which is an odd point of comparison.

Huh, but the Queen has been a part of the story even hundreds of years before the Disney movie. And other adaptations may not do Grumpy or Dopey because they're Disney property, but everyone does the Queen. Without the Queen there's no story.
If we're restraining ourselves to the Disney versions the Witch look might be more iconic than the Queen's, since that's the default appearance of the antagonist in comics that transpire as sequels to the movie
. That's without mentioning the trademark apple scene.

Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.I remember the Magic Mirror had a cool boss fight
in one of the Kingdom Hearts games.
I'm most interested in the KH games for how closely they stick to the Disney characters and settings—sometimes to their detriment, like the Frozen world, but they did keep Cinderella's dress silver and Aurora's blue.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I think I recall that, around 2012, Disney had planned to release their own version of "Snow White", but decided to hold off for then, because that year had 3 "Snow Whites": Mirror, Mirror, Snow White & the Huntsman, and Snow White from Once Upon a Time.
The Evil Queen has a Villain Song, "All is Fair". Going by the lyrics
I feel like it's a bit too modern/informal for her character.
Also I found out that the trailer music I asked about is another original song
, "Where the Good Things Grow".
Disney VEVO has released
some of the songs.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah, a clip of that song has been released and let's say twitter is not being nice about Gadot's singing ability.

Disney spent literally all of 2023 torpedoing all its projects. Horrible miscalculations are not surprising.
