The various human defense teams aren't usually... antagonistic, like this sort of makes it sound? At worst they take a while to trust the hero.
Though who knows what changed between when that synopsis was written and now.

It could be going the Nimona route where the real monster is the person in charge of the purported good guys and what we thought was the monster was innocent.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.

So we have a few first morsels of the new Ultraman Netflix animated movie. First is a screenshot from Director Shannon Tindle’s Twitter:
Then a few tidbits of footage during the Geeked Week 2023 preview. I think we’re gonna get the first trailer or a release date around that time:
So yeah, aside from Tindle (Lost Ollie, Kubo and the Two Strings) we got John Aoshima from Gravity Falls co-directing and Mark Haims (also Kubo) co-writing. Variety gave a possible synopsis a few years back: https://variety.com/2021/film/news/ultraman-movie-netflix-tsuburaya-shannon-tindle-1234972658/#!
So what do we all think? Keep in mind… I know nothing of Ultraman aside from that English dub of the show that ran of Fox Box a while back.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.
