Wait, there's a fandom rivalry? Everyone I've met who have played both series are fans of both series.

Except when you're actually in a battle, ironically.
You are not alone. It amuses me greatly that the speedrun for that ending takes longer than the True Zenoiran 100% speedrun—by almost 5 hours.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiSigil grinding OP, I guess. Because that speedrun is like, 90% grinding.

My vote is Heir to the Dragon Lands, the one with the forest fire, and Unicorn Overlord.
Generally, the levels that are intense and chaotic tend to be the most fun in this game.
Also like, YMMV stuff like Best Level Ever aren't mandatory inclusion. If you feel need to hold a poll about it, frankly it's a good indication that none of them really qualify because they dont stand out.

TBH while there's no one standout level in Unilord Overcorn for me I think it's more because the levels are overall just so high quality. Assuming you're not horribly overleveled.
You are not alone.I do think the game's level design can get repetitive. It'd be fun if they ever make a sequel, to have levels with varying objectives. Defense levels, or levels where you need to run down a unit.
Probably the closest to a standout level is the one where Virginia effs off on her own and you need to go rescue her before she gets murderized.
I feel the game would really benefit from levels that mix up the formula from "Converge onto boss".
Have levels where Galerius' forces attack and you gotta defend. It'd help not make it seem like Galerius' just letting you kick his ass. Heck a level where you gotta defend a city while refugees evacuate. Give me a reason to use all those landmines and barricades I literally am just hoarding.
Have an ambush level where I am limited on units I can deploy but have to use the forest as cover to take out my priority target and retreat.

Hmmm, I don't know if I can think of anything I'd qualify as a best level ever or whatever. But I did enjoy Heir a little more than the other maps as well. There's also the version of that one Bastorias map where Alain fights both armies at once. I like that one a lot because its size and scope means that it's one of the few maps where I can readily deploy more than 4-5 squads at a point in the battle where said squads will actually contribute in a meaningful manner.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiOh yeah. That stage was an honorable mention for me. Defending from both sides made that stage pretty challenging.
Other honorable mentions are the “defend the colliseum”, “stop the human trafficking” and the “Gislaine Fight” (for creepy atmosphere).
-Edit: Moar from reddit.
Levels that are seeming to score well with players are Heir to the Dragon Lands, Wolf vs Bear (for the choice of three different paths, especially the 2vs1 version), Order of the Rose, the Forest Fire stage (unique gimmick and objective, described as responding to a terrorist attack in real time), Unicorn Overlord, and Another Prince (defend the colliseium).
Its seeming Drakenhold has the most Best Level Ever candidates (3) so far.

Yeah the game has a pretty perfected gameplay loop.
And I always think "I wonder how THIS party will work together..."
You are not alone.![]()
One of the early port towns has a Runic Blade.
Purchase it. Then when you unlock Radiant Knight, give it to her and make the weapons innate attack your only offensive act.
Congratulations, you’ve turned your support charcater into someone who can straight up murder shit when your HP is in good order.
Think Marianne shenanigans as to why this trick works. Hint: Its a more efficient version of how Radiant Knights can become Demonic Spiders.
BTW: set your healing tactics to “target hp less than 75% for optimal efficiency with heals.

On the “Awesome Video Game Levels” (or whatever we’re calling the trope these days), I’d argue for “Another Prince”; not only is it the only pure defence stage, it lets you progress it in a variety of ways with risk and reward. Hell, if you’re able to track the number of Units you defeat you could maximise your gains, get all the Idealist’s Handmirrors and bases, and defeat Anton as your fiftieth Unit… most people wouldn’t do this, understandably, but I’m sure there’s some maniac that would.
Just saying, is all…
EDIT: I derped in my earlier implication that this mission wasn’t mentioned earlier; my other points stand, but let it be on record that I’ve since noticed it being mentioned and acknowledged my blunder.

For the sake of the trope page, where do we place Etolinde in the tier list?
She’s obviously so S tier like Alain, Rosalinde, Berengaria, or Yunifi (its mainly the extremely versatile kit that makes her a good fit in any party). Main difference in power level being the start of battle. Still good but not Rage of the Fairies grade…but there are situations where it is better (Shamans, Featherbows).
At the same time, A tier (guys like Gloucester) feels too weak.
My vote is either S- or A+ tier.
Also, in a bit of irony, despite Ogre Battle and Fire Emblem having a Fandom Rivalry, the creators of Ogre Battle are among this game’s biggest advocates.
