Honestly… the songs are not my favorite. Everything else about the movie is good, but when I compare the songs to that of, say, Wish… not for me.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight. The advertisements didn't convince me.
Rango remains the superior CGI Black Comedy starring a lizard voiced by a celebrity.
Honestly, this is more wholesome than Rango, which is still good. It’s just a different kind of good.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.I think the movie wasn't great. The songs felt same-y end just not very good to begin with, and the plot relied too much on some awfully well-worn clichés.
Still, I do want to give it some props for treating children and their problems with some respect. It's all too easy for adults to dismiss kids' problems as small and insignificant, but they are huge deals to kids, and can grow into bigger issues if not addressed. I think the film got at least that right.
Yeah, give it credit for that.
Deadline is saying that this movie is Netflix’s biggest animated movie debut of all time.

As an animation fan, I view this as a big animation win. As a Nimona fan, I am bitter and filled with seething hate towards Sandler.
Oh well. Better people be watching Sandler than a gross misinterpretation of a Korean drama.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight. That it’s doing well? I dunno. Maybe. He’s been a surprising draw for Netflix. Opening on Thanksgiving had to have helped, just like it did Wednesday.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.According to the Wrap, they’re toying with the idea of a Leo sequel.
…Would be nice if Nimona got one, but that’s all I think I can say.

Made a page for the new Adam Sandler animated movie Leo.
Here’s the TUDUM synopsis: Leo the Lizard (Sandler) has been stuck in the same Florida school for decades. When he learns he only has one year left to live, he plans to escape to freedom, but instead has to rescue his class from their horribly mean substitute teacher. It ends up being the strangest, but most rewarding bucket list ever…
Here’s the teaser:
Honestly, I almost didn’t make this due to Rob Schneider being in the voice cast and he’s basically a Daily Wire shill, what with them being in their “anti-woke” animated series.
