I find it pretty irritating that users aren't informed to use "%%" to uncomment something and delete everything entirely instead. Deletion is only necessary if it's ENTIRELY false, not TECHNICALLY false. Can we have something to better inform people to remove a line in that fashion?

Eh? We're only meant to use comment tags on zero-context examples. Removing things that need to be cut or rewritten is standard.

"use %% to uncomment", you mean the other way around? tbh I don't really get the question.

They probably meant to "comment out". Perhaps OP could provide an example of the technical wrong variant
