Mightymewtron,
Nice name btw and If I’m going to add a like system then ya I’ll definitely add a sort by most likes to the sort menu.
No it's not implemented yet. If it was, there'd be a huge announcement.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupThere's a lot of posts so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the contrast for hats/bombs on the dark theme is abysmal, verging on barely readable. Just felt this needed to be reiterated if possible.
Especially the bombs, those are barely readable even with good colour vision.
Read the OP. The folder labeled “improvements to come” shows you everything that’s been suggested. And yes the bomb color is in there.
Now Monitoring Query Bugs and Query WishlistTechnically, I'm also complaining about the hat colour†!
But yeah, got lost scanning through the list. Sorry 'bout the repetition.
† I'm not too versed in exact UI guidelines, but it should be like... lime green or something given general UX stuff? I do back end things more than anything.

No worries. And I’m mostly a backend guy as well, I’ll make it all work front to back but anything design wise I just send to the frontend department. I’m pretty terrible at it lol.

Now Monitoring Query Bugs and Query WishlistAlso in the OP. Really wish people would read what’s been suggested lol.
Now Monitoring Query Bugs and Query WishlistI've mentioned this on the wishlist and am reposting it here for visibility. The one other thing I have to suggest is preventing you from adding hats or bombs if there's already five more of what you're trying to add than the other. That would completely kill bomb dogpiling, which is also a massive problem, but Kory's been pushing back on this one because he thinks it's not necessary with the other changes. I highly urge him to reconsider.

Is capping votes a thing that has full consensus or we'll have to vote about it?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI know I've wanted it for a while, it was one of my wishlist suggestions from years back. I agree, it kills the dogpiling issues and forces people to actually give feedback instead of just throwing votes at a draft.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall![]()
It's definitely something that could use more discussion because the only people that I know have extensively discussed it are me, WarJay, and Kory.
Edit: Courtesy link to the wishlist item.

The mods discussed this before and didn’t come to a conclusive decision. I’ll ask them again.
Now Monitoring Query Bugs and Query WishlistI mean, then you could just add one more hat... or that was always my personal idea, anyway, to have it on a sliding scale so that you could always be at the proper net count for the amount of hats and bombs on the draft. So if there's one bomb, you could have six hats.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI'm just not yet convinced putting a cap is necessary when requesting a reason for voting will be implemented. A sponsor wouldn't suddenly die from a heart attack if the draft receives a 0:20 ratio, it would instead highlight users who bomb unconstructively.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupMaybe do a crowner? Offer “no cap” “5 hats / 5 bombs cap” “7 / 5” “8 / 5” etc?
Now Monitoring Query Bugs and Query WishlistI have no idea why you would ever want to cap the maximum number of hats, that just seems like it'd make it annoying. "Oh, someone's added a bomb? Better hope that one of the people who supports it but wasn't able to because of this arbitrary limit checks in to click the button so it can launch".
Like, is there even such a thing as being too supported?

I don't have a problem with capping bombs/hats personally but I suppose we can wait and see if requiring bomb reasons, will lessen unnecessary dogpiling and improper hatting. If it doesn't, I think it's easier to go with capping than having to deal with every person that goes too far with bombing/hatting.
Macron's notes
Crown Description:
The TLP is getting the ability to launch other pages besides tropes so we want the name to be more generalized. Please do not add new options to the crowner.

Regarding the like system, what purpose would it serve besides offering a diversion for mistakenly added hats? Just let the sponsor know a lot of people like the idea even before it's ready to launch? I feel comments are more productive for that.
Maybe we could add a "sort by most liked" section that can be switched between "sort by last edited" as well? Sorry if this was suggested earlier I'm catching up.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
