Paging ~Berrenta to the thread. Anyway, maybe we could unlaunch it if it's determined to be salvageable, but I'd like to see if anyone can provide input on whether it's salvageable.
You can't always get what you want.I'm for re-LPing it.

Vehicle-Based Characterization | Grief-Induced Split | Locker MailHere is the original TLP thread for anyone curious.
The concept sounds fine and there doesn't see anything wrong with the trope other than it didn't get a lot of examples.
So to sending it back to TLP.
On the subject of unlaunching it, if we do that, the page's current text will be copied to the draft before it's unlaunched due to the various changes that have been made since 2018.

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI think this is suffering from being too specific. Essentially this is just All Animals Are Domesticated or All Animals Are Dogs expanded to monsters with just a focus on these monsters reacting to getting pets the same way a dog or other domesticated animal would. The precise spot matters less than the fact that these beasts are reacting to getting pet the same way normal animals would, imo.
So, expand and send back then? Or merge?

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallMerge into one of the two or spin out into a broader trope about all beast-like creatures, monstrous or not, being treated like and acting like dogs/pets. A Sister Trope to All Animals Are Dogs and/or All Animals Are Domesticated.
This made me think of the rather long disagreement I had about Werewolves Are Dogs not being distinct enough from All Animals Are Dogs to warrant a separate trope. It went through because others argued that werewolves aren't technically animals[1]. I still think the underlining concept is the same: werewolves = wolf-like = dog-like animal, but if we're accepting the logic that beast-like fantasy creatures (like dragons, werebeasts of all kinds, gryffins, sphinx, etc) are different, we might as well have a trope to cover that. Would also be a supertrope to Catlike Dragons.

Expand/retool into "any living creatures being treated like pets." I was gonna day the same about how "monsters" is too specific.
I'd be fine with disambiguating between All Animals Are Domesticated and All Animals Are Dogs, now that that's been mentioned.
You can't always get what you want.I hooked a crowner since this is a Not Thriving thread, though we don't already have quite enough support for taking action.
You can't always get what you want.Unsure how close All Animals Are Dogs is for beasts that stop being hostile if a specific spot is touched
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI'm just going to go ahead an call this in favor of sending back to TLP since it's unanimous and, as I previously mentioned, it's a Not Thriving thread, and the Three-Day Rule doesn't always apply to those.
You can't always get what you want.Didn't take long, so locking up.

Crown Description:
Monsters Favorite Petting Spot is not thriving. What should be done with it?
Note: This thread was proposed by Berrenta.
After being launched in 2018, the trope only has 6 on-page examples and 18 wicks (including one from a redirect); this makes the trope wick-starved. Cross-wicking won't do much, as all on-page examples are already crosswicked.
I feel there is a trope in there; should we send it back to TLP or at least send it to the salvage yard?
