It's something of a tradition for me, back when Soul Calibur VI dropped the first thing I did was make a five-foot-tall Disney princess with Astaroth's style, so she twirls around a giant axe that's taller than she is and throws leaping backbreakers for days. :V

Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read!I actually found that Juri's style mixed with Ken and Cammy is REALLY useful for me.
Or maybe it's all the grinding I did.
Like I actually won the first Nayshall tournament without even using a single healing item.
Frigging sweet. Plus it's hilarious to see Juri's win pose on my very male Avatar. Let him be fabulous!

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"So after MUCH bullshit with Cardboard guy, who has some of the most rigged bullshit in this series since Final Bison, I won the tournament!
And then proceed to get into a fight with a lvl 59 JP.
While I'm only lvl 54.
FUCK. And I thought I was just about right for this final mission.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Tip: Phalanx is very useful against projectile spamming AI enemies. If you time and distance it right, you can hop right over a hadouken and smack them out of the recovery animation. It's how I defeated Sheng Long, which means I stand a chance against the final two bonus bosses. :V

Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read! It’s a bit late for this tip, but I find that Cardboard Spoiler Guy becomes a bit easier once you realize that only the first two hits of his super are unblockable. If you forward jump it then immediately block or parry, you’ll usually avoid any trouble with it entirely.
Wait, if you lose against the Cardboard Combatant, does it give you the option to try again? I never found out because I technically beat him on my first try (but only by being very liberal with the wound-closing cans of Red Bull)

Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read!Yeah, that's why I asked. I didn't think others were so dedicated to chugging down Red Bull that they were able to beat him. :V
The Siberian Express is another favourite of mine, but don't bother using it against the legendary opponents. They'll jump around, jump up, jump up and get down if you even think about command-throwing them. Well, except the two dragon ninjas in Nayshall against whom it can be used to effortlessly cheese them instead, as previously described. :V
Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read! The first Fighting Game I played regularly online was Blazblue: Continuum Shift.
I lost forty times online before I got my first win.
SF 6 has a much larger pool of players so it's a bit more even, but don't be ashamed when you get eaten by a bigger fish. It happens.
You are not alone.
SF 6 is the first traditional fighting game I’ve ever invested more than a few minutes in so online has been pretty rough. I do play Smash Bros but I have nobody IRL to play with and online in Ultimate is legitimately near unplayable.

Once Upon A Time.
Smash Bros has taught me that training against CP Us is a horrible way to get better at a fighting game. AI opponents are exploitable, predictable, and do not learn and adapt to your strategies. I do get a lot of use out of training and combo training. Though combo training has a glaring flaw where it doesn’t display the inputs while you are practicing.

Once Upon A Time.I’ve heard level 8 CP Us are nearly impossible to beat. But even then training against a CPU is completely different to training against another player. Playing against Level 9 CP Us in Smash didn’t make me any better against human players.

Once Upon A Time.LVL 8 CPU’s in SF 6 have been fairly lauded by fans, because while they are input reading bastards who won’t prepare you for fighting humans at all when it comes to how humans actually react to things, they are surprisingly intelligent players with a strong grasp of the game’s systems, character strengths, and what the best move is to do in any situation.
As Max put it, they make good training dummies because they will show you what’s possible in a way no other fighting game AI will. It’s easy to learn combos, character tricks, even simple things like how best to use Drive Rush, by watching them and replicating what they do.
So if you really want to learn a character, I’d suggest firing a LVL 8 of that character at least a few times.

I’m gonna stick to ranked. At first I assumed Ranked was where all the sweats would be so I played casual and got my ass kicked by people outside my weight class. Ranked has given me more evenly matched opponents. Even matches are the most fun to play and don’t really frustrate me because they’re fair.
And that's world tour mode cleared.
Hell of an ending. Def feels like a prologue for more story stuff.
Loved JP's energy as a baddie. Just points out how beating the shit out of him didn't solve anything. We can't prove he indirectly murdered Bosch, the bomb was technically a plan of the resistance after all, and just beating him up means NOTHING in the long run since as far as everyone else is concerned, he's legally the victim here.
Sure, his not as grandiose as Bison or Gill, but hell, he's def top tier villain material after this.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I'm a little late but re:CPUs: I'd say the best thing they're good for is learning muscle memory. They might not be conditionable or test your mental stack like a real player, but they do get you used to hit-confirming certain combos, remember what your reaction moves are, and figure out how to autopilot all that in the heat of a fight while thinking about other things.

For story mode, I mostly use Honda's as it's a very good adaptable style with a lot of cancellable normals. Lily's too. But I also find that the AI has trouble really dealing with Marisa's command normals.
For specials: Manon's throw, Air Slasher, Hundred Hands, Tomahawk Buster, Honda's Dash, Sumo Spirit, Cammy's Dive Kick, and Kimberley's Air Grab.
For supers, I've had Chun's Lightning Kicks super at LVL 2 since I first got it. I swap between Marisa and Gief's LVL 1 depending on how I feel, and I only have Lily's LVL 3 because getting LVL 3's takes forever.
