Neo Shadaloo does get name-dropped in World Tour though, as the organization responsible for setting up the gang tournament in Nayshall to determine who'll go on to enter JP's tournament. So either Ed's still a bit confused, JP is stringing him along, or he's been kicked out of his own club because a bunch of ex-Shadaloo types joined up thinking he wanted to carry on Bison's legacy (and they'd be totally right to make that assumption because with a name like 'Neo-Shadaloo', why wouldn't they? :V)
As an aside, I was reminded that one of the gift items you can buy in WT is Psycho Charge, some kind of purple energy drink originally developed for Shadaloo infantry that has since become generally popular. I almost want Capcom to make a few real bottles, or at least give us the recipe. I wanna know what kind of kick it has that it can inspire them to do the fake psycho crusher. :V

Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read!So I found Juri by complete accident and actually managed to beat her this time.
But of course the cutscene showed me getting my ass kicked. Juri seems to find me amusing though.
Funny how she doesn't seem to remember kidnapping Bosch. Really takes after Bison in that regard.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"What I would find really funny is that her Main Persona is a Dominatrix ass Bitch in the ring and in public, but in private, she's submissive as hell.
A power Bottom, but still.
Watch SymphogearJuri reminds me a lot of Taskmaster these days. Takes jobs from whoever pays, sometimes good guys but mostly bad guys, and doesn't really care either way who she works for.

Juri may be a sadist, but she also has standards.
Heck, I'd call her more of an anti-hero than villain, at least in V since that's where she actually helps out Cammy and the Dolls for no personal gain, Bison is at his most evil there, and she's fighting against him.
There is something to be said about how she genuinely seems to enjoy teaching the PC.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Juri is a teen edgelord who left her teen years and now has no idea what to do with her life.
You are not alone.Juri's relationship with being evil has always been awkward, tbh. In nearly every game it turns out she's technically on the heroes' side, even way back in SFIV, but she's such a revenge-obsessed sadist and her methods are so below board that she's considered evil anyway.
So you get stuff like V where she just helps Cammy for no reason other than she wants to, because she doesn't really have a problem doing stuff like that, but on the flipside is a big jerk about it. In VI, you get her post-revenge arc: she didn't get the payback she wanted, so she's adrift and without purpose, just doing whatever anyone pays her to do - like her Arcade ending says, it's just kind of a sad existence.
She reminds me how Capcom handles Akuma, where he's evil on a personal level, but often neutral otherwise.

Funny comparison, because supposedly before Bison killed her family, Juri was said to be a sweet, shy girl who wanted to make her strict parents proud.
Now look at her. I actually find her And Then What? storyline to be pretty compelling.
In IV at least, I think the idea is that Juri was slipping into evil as part of her plans to get close to Bison and destroy him, but she realizes she enjoys being evil.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Juri tethering that line made me realize
Wow, SF 6 is really lacking on bad guys. 1 and a half.

To boot, the main antagonists of World Tour mode turn out to be kinda sorta the good guys.
Like, JP is the final boss, but he's not really involved in the story. The whole story is more about finding out he exists, and running into a resistance cell that wants to get revenge on him for what he did to their country. They want to get payback by committing an act of terrorism and killing him in a massive explosion - which would also kill Bosch and possibly others - and the whole story falls into being about preventing them from doing that because the protag disapproves.
JP gains the protag's ire at the very end by deflecting the attempt so that only Bosch dies and mocking him about it, but the Resistance against JP turn out to be the biggest enemies of the mode.
Meanwhile, there's also a lot of turning enemies into allies in World Tour, too. Damnd turns out to be a lot less awful as big boss than the crimelords who previously ran Mad Gear.

I mean lack of major antagonists is kind of the "Vibe" the game is going for. The good guys won last time, let's just enjoy ourselves and ooooooh shit we're not done yet.
You are not alone. The way y'all are describing Juri here just makes me think of Hiimdaisy's take on Ocelot from MGS3. :V
Juri: "Heyyy, anyone wanna see how strong I am?"
Avatar: "Not really."
Juri: "B-b-but look! I just kicked your ass with basically no effort!"
Avatar: "Man, whatever."
Juri: *Twitch* "S-somebody doesn't think I'm cool..."
Those sell-by-dates won't stop me because I can't read!
Normally I'd say "If the shoe fits, wear it" but in this case the analogy doesn't work because it's about Juri.
Since I usually main Honda, I put his style on my avatar, and then added both his hundred slaps and oichi throw, Chun-Li's hundred kicks, spinning bird kick, and tensho kicks, Marisa's phalanx, Kimberly's shuriken bomb, and Cammy's cannon strike. I also alternate between Kikoken and Air Slasher for projectiles. As for supers; Shinku Hadouken, Eraser, and The Final Bout.
I use Zangief's fighting style, because I used to main Alex in SFV but he's not in the game so it's the next best thing. :V
My specials are: all three of 'Gief's command throws, Honda's Hundred Hand Slap, Sumo Spirit (for combo spam) and Sumo Smash (as an anti-air), and Marisa's Phalanx and Quadriga (the latter of which is probably the closest thing in the game to EX Slash Elbow, hands-down my most-beloved special in V). And for supers I was lazy so they're just all of 'Gief's. So basically all of the 'tank' specials combined.
Also, visually my avatar is a very chubby bespectacled nerd wrestler gal with a bubbly voice, partly because she's based on a pre-existing OC (different source) but also just to have fun with the character creator. :V

Besides that though, I don’t recall Ed doing anything particularly supervillainish.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"
