Eat Me vs Regret Eating Me - where to put an example

There are a couple of instances where a character who is about to be eaten ingests/covers themself in poison or sharp objects as a form of Taking You with Me.

I've seen such examples listed as Regret Eating Me, but that seems like misuse as it is specifically a dialogue trope. I've also seen them listed as Eat Me, which fits better, but the description, laconic, and page examples all suggest that's a ploy for an alive person to consciously attack a creature from the inside, as opposed to a Thanatos Gambit.

Does this belong under Eat Me or somewhere else entirely?

I could see Regret Eating Me apply for cases where the victim lets the attacker know of the poison they are about to ingest as a type of warning. I don't see how Eat Me applies.

I think it's closer to Eat Me than Regret Eating Me, Regret Eating Me is defined as a type of one-liner, it's about what the character says rather than any actions, while Eat Me is distinguished as being about the character's actions, I think Tropes Are Flexible enough that it will also work if the character dies.
