Then make the demand for a female Link as the alternative. I mean, there is precedent to do so with old Japanese magazines
, after all.
I mean, what's the worst that can happen with a female Link?

Oh believe me, I want either or pretty goddamn bad. I just feel like if it didn't happen now then it's because of some particularly misogynistic shot-caller exec.
It would be rad if we can choose the next Incarnation of Link being a Gerudo or Zora or whatever...
You are not alone.Revali seems to be very much the proverbially hawk bred from a kite, given that he is the one guy who does not have Super Powerful Genetics on his side and his power of wind was something he was explicitly said to have had to develop entirely through his own grit and talent.
See, it's like I told you Anakin, the furries are taking over!
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Now that I think about it, it does make Revali's standoffishness sensible plus his Napoleon Complex.
EDIT: Oh my god, make it stop
, every clip is hilarious lmao

There's def some weird design decision that went into this game. Like why is upgrading batteries a 3 step process? Why do you need the extra dude to turns Crystallized Charge into energy wells? Why not have the forge just take the ores and make you a well for 100 ores directly. It's not like there's a reason to save up Crystallized Charges.
It's even weirder coz the battery expansions don't do this much. the game drowns you in Zonai charges to recharge your battery, and shrines, where you'll do like 75% of the device building, have infinite power.
The part that's bugging me is the fusing weapons mechanic.
I get that they want people to try out the fuse power. But... did we really need to make all weapons pretty much useless without fusing?
What if I just want to wield a regular sword? Nope. Have to attach a boulder, or a plank, or another sword to it to make it worth anything in a fight. And a lot of the fused weapons just look stupid. Especially when you fuse two spears together.
This is maybe bugging me more than it should, but I feel like the "decay" caused by the Gloom was unnecessary. Have the option to fuse weapons together, sure, but don't make them completely useless when they're not fused!
You'd think fusing a ruby to a sword to make a flame sword would attach the rock to the hilt but nooo.
I'm really wondering what the development reason for the ghostly companions is. Why can't they just, y'now, be there.

You are not alone.Just yeet yourself at the highest central spire. There's a bow in a hole in the roof, and as you come down the central chamber theres royal guard shields and weapons strewn all over.

Probably because they wanted the companions to vanish when in town or in certain areas.

The development reason is...because it's more convenient to have a spirit teleport to you and no need to have extra dialogue for the order in which you complete the story.
And player convenience is...them not talking every time you activate their ability.
Story reason, you can literally do any temple in any order...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Also means the companions dont butt in on each other's story. So less writing.
My question is why in the year 2023 so many of the characters have unvoiced dialogue
I dont mean randos you mean on the road, I mean like, why do half the companions have maybe a third of their dialogue voiced and the rest is just them grunting.
Like there's not that much dialogue to begin with. Advanced Wars Reboot camp has the same thing. For all the fanfare of "The C Os are voiced now" they barely talk

Even the Master Sword is vastly more effective with something fused to it (I use the Light Dragon shards myself)
Bewitching EyesSpeaking of story, You'd think by the third time Link does a temple he'd just tell the companion "Yo it's your ancestor they wear a divine beast mask, they failed to kill Ganondorf, they want you to help me coz they swore to the sage of time which is clearly Zelda."
It's hilarious how they react like it's a surprise and a twist each time.

I saw a theory that the Triforce parts were switched this time around, with Link getting Wisdom, Zelda Power, and Ganondorf Courage.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
