He's pretty funny.
If you think about it that way.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Everytime Hudson tries to explain support structures to Addison, Addison keeps missing the explanation because from his POV it does that romance trope where everytime he looks at Hudson he drowns everything out as the world around him turns pink and hearts appear everywhere while he looks into Hudson's eyes.
I assume the reason Addison is on sign duty in the first place is to keep him away from any actual construction project.
So I just thought of something, and it's made Sidon's ability way worse than I thought.
Okay so in the last game, Mipha's Grace, was a full revive plus additional hearts. And Daruk's Protection gave you three shields that would auto-parry attacks and would last until you used all three of them up. Meanwhile in this game Sidon's ability is one measly ass water shield that not only doesn't seem to shield-parry properly, (okay in fairness I've only been able to test it on Black Bokoblins, so it might have been that tougher enemies have a resistance to them) but it also doesn't even last until you get hit, disappearing after a few seconds, regardless of if it was tanked a hit or not.
Also it doesn't protect you from electrical attacks. And I get it, water, but the point of a shield barrier is to protect me from attacks. What's the point of it then if I can't rely on it to protect me all the time?
So basically they replaced the ability you got from the Zoras for the one from the Gorons, and then made that ability the lamest version of that possible. The only upside Sidon's ability has is that the cooldown is only a couple seconds over the minutes you had to wait with last games' abilities.
Riju's sage ability is pretty crappy too, because it requires you to stand next to her avatar to use it. Which wouldn't be so bad if her avatar didn't keep running away from you. As soon as you get anywhere near her, she runs off in the opposite direction. It finally got to the point where I basically said, 'screw it' and disabled hers altogether.
By contrast, Urbosa's Fury was easy to use and stunned all enemies caught in its AoE. So Riju's feels like a major setep backwards from Urbosa's.
I admit, I agree with that.
In fact, all the sages have a bad tendency to run away from you when you want to use their abilities.
At least they make up for it by often attacking enemies and doing extra damage to them.
One Strip! One Strip!Did they get rid of the 300 Rupees reward? What made me ask this was that I finished getting all the Great Fairies to finally come out, and you'd think that after finishing that sidequest, that Mastro would give me 300 Rupees as the big reward for finishing that whole sidequest. But instead he only gave me 100 rupees, which was the same reward for getting the third Fairy out.
Tulin's ability is the most useful simply because he follows you automatically when you're in midair
Bewitching EyesThe game spoils you by pushing you to the Rito first as it gives you the best sage. Not only does Tulin fly with you as you paraglide, he attacks from a distance, covers more ground and can do headshots to stun the enemy. And his sage ability is good for defense to blow mooks away. So far I've seen Sidon's power spend more time dancing around the enemy to size them up instead of, you know, ATTACKING.
-Witty line-Just got all the Korok seeds on Satori Mountain. Went faster than I'd have expected. I put that place off for way too long.
Still working on getting a bit more health, item slots, and upgrading my armour a bit more. That's gonna be hard. Right now, I'm doing a puzzle near the Oshozan-u Shrine in the Hebra Mountain regions. This one will take quite a while though.
One Strip! One Strip!I think there's only like 2-3 chests AT MOST in the entire game that have 300 rupees in them. That's about it. They curtailed that reward insanely for the sequel. You're expected to get money through other means. My recommendations:
Monster parts (not the horns, but claws and fangs) are amazing selling pieces.
Also, once you get enough poes to frequently buy low-cost armor from Bargainer statues, just sell each of those armor duplicates for 600 rupees a pop.
EZ money.

So they made this big change to the Great Fairies that requires you to get a lot more rupees to keep up with their demands, and there's the Fuse system, where a lot of stuff, including the high level treasures like Sapphires and Topaz can used to make weapons, so you're left constantly deciding whether to sell them or attach them to a weapon, and separating the things you fused will destroy the material you used, and they reduced the best way to get a lot of rupees quick into near non-existence? This sounds like the kind of thing that a mobile game would put in to encourage you to buy their microtransactions.

Yep!
Let's put it this way: I've 100% BOTW several times, picking up everything as I go, killing everything as I go and by the end of the game, I'm able to fully 4-star upgrade all outfits with minimal to no grinding by the end of my runs.
I've done only a few 100% runs of TOTK and at the end, there is still hours and hours worth of grinding left and maybe 75-80% of my armor 4-star ranked. The fact they made Lizalfos tails no longer a guaranteed drop since BOTW is horrible. The fact that made more armor sets require MORE of said tails is abysmal.

Well, that's why they said spin-off. People are generally fine with Hyrule Warriors existing. No reason a JRPG take on the series couldn't work.
