Agree on this sentiment that some of the images are unnecessary. For example, Edric and Emira Blight sheets have images of them in "Labyrinth Runners" where... they have different colored sleeves to their previous appearance? I think there are few others where the changes are barely noticeable. I also think that the epilogue designs can go.
Hard disagree on removing the Epilogue designs.
But some are a bit extra.
Eda can probably do without her teen picture.
I like the picture, but Belos doesn't need the one of him in his colonial clothes, it's only for half of King's Tide.
Remove the Halloween costumes but keep the "For the Future/Watching and Dreaming" looks.

Some images are basically the same, with the only changes being the clothes. I agree to remove some of these images.

Whittle them down to three main outfits in general, unless they're like Belos who has too many important forms.
King only needs him with the broken horn, him with fixed horn, and him being much older.
Eda, get rid of teen image.
Lilith, same thing.
Hunter, he doesn't need the unmasked image since his Clouds on the Horizon image can cover his unmasked face. Thanks to Them could be cut if needed. For the Future is important.

Belos also has seven images; I think four would suffice (masked, unmasked, Philip, and monstrous form are reasonable, since they reflect enough of his story). Philip's entry has two pictures, and that's just a redirect to Belos's page.
The Titan has three images; the middle one can easily be cut. (I like the idea of having both the image of him as the Boiling Isles and an image from the finale.)
That's the best suggestion so far.
Btw, I removed the picture of Belos in his Puritan drip.

While I am broadly in favor of not turning character pages into wiki galleries and culling "them but in a different outfit" images, I am not familiar with the work so I wouldn't know which characters are under discussion. Since I don't think many IP regulars are familiar with most works that come here, I think it would be best to have a concrete proposal of (a) which characters have extra pics and (b) which pics you would like to remove.

At the very least, I'd like to see a removal of images from redirect entries; for example, there shouldn't be pictures of Willow/Amity/Gus/Luz on the Hexside character subpage, since all four of those entries redirect to other character pages. Whether or not you know anything about the characters, that's a fairly obvious change.
I would like to remove Puppet Hooty. It honestly makes no difference since nearly everyone on the Boiling Isles have been turned into Puppets.
It's easier to count who hasn't been turned into a Puppet.
While we're at it, can we cut the picture on The Owl House - The Hexsquad? I might be fine with spoiling Vee's existence, but Hunter's Heel–Face Turn is asking too much.
We could... but I bet in a few years, it'll be like Team Avatar where everyone would know the end results even if they haven't watched the show.
Speaking of Hexsquad, I recommend removing this image:
Because it's literally just regular Season 1 Luz with her face covered in shadow. There's nothing about this image that screams Basilisk or Obvious Imposter.

Okay, I didn't think this through. Just to give this thread a clear direction, Let's just focus this thread on The Owl House - Luz Noceda. Other characters we can tackle later.
Luz alone has seven images. I think to streamline it a tad. I think we should just keep it to these three images.

Feel these three are the most important. Everything else is just a variant of some kind (and given that the epilogue design is only seen in the last few moments, I don't know if it's worth keeping)

Good trimming, but I'd probably include her For The Future look above everything except S1
Seconded. The Azura outfit is what she wore in all three episodes of Season 3, and thus that's the look most associated with her. The Thanks to Them one is a depression phase and doesn't last that long.

This thread has been a long time coming, because woo boy, the character pages need some serious clean up.
This is probably cover multiple pages because a lot of them exhibit the same problem.
Many of the character pages have not one, not two, but multiple page images (hell, Luz alone has seven images).
I get these characters are incredibly dynamic and they deliberately change, and I get wanting to have that, but do we really need seven images or so to cover their entire arc? One or two or maybe even three images, okay, but some of these page are approaching 10 images. It's just overkill and clutters up the pages. I think at the very least, we should at least streamline it to the most important designs.
Like Luz for starters. I think we can just have her base S1 design and Thanks to Them designs, since those are her most important designs and the two used for the basis for everything else, all the variants and what not is just unnecessary. Like, do we need a image of her Halloween costume?
