Basicly all there is to Kashimo is that his technique is one-time-use only, his cursed energy has electric properties (giving him technique-like abilities) and he wants to fight the strongest, even though he lost to Hakari who is nowhere even close to that title. Remove him from the story and literally nothing changes. In short Kashimo is a complete waste of character.
Honestly this feels like set up for her to take an enemy by surprise considering Kenjaku said his “Will lives on” and Kenjaku himself says Binding Vows with the self are different from Vows with others. The only thing lost via Self-Imposed Vows is any boosts gotten from said Vow when breaking them.
So Miwa coming out of nowhere when they least expect it is possible.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. All I remember was Hakari's fight being kinda weird and hard to follow, and Kashimo having a LOT of simps and fans on Twitter. Like way more than I was expecting.
Other than that, I guess he's mostly there cuz the Culling Games were set up to give Yuji, Megumi, Maki, Yuta, and Kashimo some fights. There's some good shit, but...eh.
Like I keep saying, it says a lot that my reaction keeps going into "Man I can't wait to see this animated".
Miwa had the exact same fate as Todou. Both were in life-or-death situations and both chose survival over their future ability to fight. To be fair, I don't remember if people cast Todou's fate as bad writing, but I personally didn't see it that way.
Whoops. Didn't even realize.

There is no war in Ba Sing Se.245: The sheer convenience of how everything always plays out to Sukunas advantage is truly stunning... At least Sukuna didn´t just beat the legal system Higurumas domain. Since he claimed to be interested in Higurumas sword, he will likely discard his cursed tool next week and replace it with Higurumas executiors sword, showing he can steal items that are part of a cursed technique. I´m very curious how this fight is supposed to reach a satisfying conclusion. Sukuna still has more up his sleeve and wouldn´t even have needed his last three or so powerups to fight evenly with the remaining cast.
I think it's clear who the author's favourite character is

Bewitching EyesAt this point I'm only sticking around to see how many sharks this series can jump before it's over
Bewitching EyesVolume format only salvages pacing issues, and getting animated isn't going to fix the writing.
EDIT: Like compare Sukuna to Aizen and Madara. Yes, all three are broken, but in time people came around to Madara's thematic ties to the plot and fell in love with his battle mania.
Aizen always had a meme factor to him that fans loved, but beyond that he also came around in people's eyes for again, having a lot more nuance.
All this is stuff Sukuna really lacks. He's basically what would've happened had Kurama from Naruto never got depth.

Not always. If anything the anime is making a decent amount of people realize that the manga's most glaring flaws to come started in the Shibuya
That being said I think what mostly bugs me is the thought of Yorozu's whole existence seeming to amount to giving Sukuna a literal get out of jail free card because apparently a weapon that didn't even exist for the crime that he's being accused of can get confiscated

I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysReaction is still overwhelmingly positive though.
I'm just saying, we complain *now*, but given time I can see said complaints dwindling.

Yeah. Those first two got better reception AFTER the fact. People hated Aizen and Madara a lot. Then that opinion shifted with hindsight.
I see no reason why this won't also happen here.

Bringing up two villains where were originally quite hated for being perceived as bland and overpowered antagonists who the plot gave too much leeway with only to be Vindicated by History and acting like that it’s impossible for that to happen with Sukuna feels like peak late stage big shounen hype cycle mindset.
THANK YOU.
This is what I'm trying to say. The constant negativity with each new chapter is grating enough but acting like the series isn't going to inevitably see a reappraisal once it's over and fully animated and junk is ridiculous. It *always* happens. Being blind to the repetive nature of this cycle is willfull ignorance.
I'm not even saying people aren't allowed to dislike the direction the series is going in, but does it have to be the case where every single chapter just leads to the same comments about how awful it is or whatever? Is there *nothing* positive to say?
See this, *this* is something I'm interested in! I'd like to understand this perspective a bit more. What role does Sukuna serve thematically?
