Needs Help: Adorable Evil Minions

Adorable Evil Minions is a trope that has not that many wicks, and after a brief wick check it turns out that it's also filled with ZCE where they just state the mook's name. What to do?

Opening

Want to point out that the laconic and opening paragraph for Adorable Evil Minions state that these are basically cute mooks but some of the correct examples like the one for Manga.Murder Princess are describing specific characters who aren't actually mooks.

In any case, this seems like valid, deliberate examples could be merged into Cute Is Evil?

This seems a lot more closely related to Mascot Mook than Cute Is Evil. The stuff about specific characters, especially specific human characters, feels like shoehorning - the essence of the trope seems to be for, yeah, generic mook critters with a cute design (I think it's mostly though not exclusively a video game trope TBH).

I didn't notice that the OP didn't have any solutions until now but we prefer TRS thread O Ps to have clear suggestions for courses of action. If you aren't what to do, a trope talk thread should be made first to sort out the issues with the trope.

Well, merging with Mascot Mook or Cute Is Evil has so far been suggested. I don't think we need to close if we have ideas?

(OTOH I considered wick checking this myself at one point but I wasn't sure of a solution if ZCE problems were the main issue so I didn't do it.)

Mascot Mook doesn't have to be cute or adorable, they can even be horrifying things like the Headcrabs of Half-Life, so I don't think that's a good merge target either.

I actually find the concept tropeworthy on its own and the name and description seem fine. Maybe it just needs a clean-up? It's an old trope from 2010, I usually expect those to have a lot of ZCE just by the fact the site standards were lower back then.

You know, maybe it does just need a cleanup. Like I said, I held off on wick checking this because I couldn't see any TRS-able problems.

Yeah, I just brought up Mascot Mook because I thought it was a lot more relevant than Cute Is Evil (the trope doesn't have anything in it about about being adorable because they're evil or vice-versa) - I don't support a merge.
