Cyberpunk Edgerunners would be hard to do considering nearly everyone was dead at the end of it, but you could do something in the same universe at least. At least this one had a potential Sequel Hook at the end to maybe work with eventually if O'Malley has more ideas and those 50 different miracles occur.

There was a sequel hook. One tiny thread they could pull on if they decide they want to. It’s possible that it could happen some day.
I mentioned that Blake Lively is directing an adaptation? And Edgar Wright is writing?

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.I was just pointing it out. I’m trying to move on now.
And I was also pointing out the Seconds movie.
Okay, how’s this: anyone ever do any Scott Pilgrim fanfiction with their friends?

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.I did not mean to do that. I was responding to someone who brought it up. Moving on now.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.Saw the series in a couple days and really enjoyed it. I'm vaguely familiar with the original comic books, but I loved the movie and enjoyed the video game at the time so I was curious to see how a Japanese studio would have handled a Western but manga- and game-inspired property. To nobody's surprise Science SARU did a great job, but I liked everything from the voice acting to the soundtrack. As for the Bait-and-Switch, I was a bit stunned at first but did like how the new plot unfolded, especially since I never liked Scott all that much as a main character to begin with. I do admit that maybe if you don't know anything about SP this is not a great starting point, since a few things don't get properly explained or at least I was a bit confused about them. Though I liked also how they went all meta with the movie inspired by Scott's life, both homaging and parodying the live-action one, and having it a part of a convoluted plot that ended up not mattering that much!
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.Not a second season. A spin-off. And I’m being hypothetical.
I am done talking about the chances of a second season, okay? This was something else. No more speculation!

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight. You're still ignoring the obvious social cues of people asking you to tone down your obsessiveness.
Instead of saying "yeah i liked Stephen's arc" or "I wish Stephen's sexuality got some focus" or "I actually don't like Stephen that much" or anything like that, you immeaditely jumped to "Stephen Stills spinoff when?!!"

I’m going to focus on some other threads for a bit. Just calm down.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.
Alright, yes, I suppose I can see that as a valid reading.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.Changing topics, did this show give anyone any fanfiction ideas?
I actually did love the Rebuild of X concept.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight./a/ on why they don't wanna accept Scott Pilgrim Takes Off as anime: Because...potatoes

I just learned Old Scott is voiced by Gendo.
Been rewatching The Suicide Squad and a part of me wonders how different the movie and this anime would be if James Gunn directed instead of Edgar Wright.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.

Yes, it has the wiggle room if they want to come back without entire threads dangling about. That’s a good way to do it honestly.
I mean, maybe it would have helped me not be so clingy if it had more than eight episodes. Spend more time in the future and see how Kim and Knives and everyone are doing, perhaps.
