I think I'm in favor of Yarding.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Yarding sounds good.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThis isn't a trope (it's production side) but I don't really think it's trivia either, because it just describes a common thing people who make filmed scripted content do, and not something that is particular to any individual work.
I feel like this could fit in with the new Media Notes namespace as a simple explainer, but if not that, then I think it should just be cut

I don't think this is a tropeworthy concept, cut.
CSP Cleanup Thread | All that I ask for ... is diamonds and dance floorsto yarding.
It's similar to other Creator Speak and Camera Tricks pages that describe how a work is made but aren't necessarily something the ordinary viewer would even know about.
On the subject of Camera Tricks, maybe moving it to the "Other camera tricks" section made by a previous TRS thread for wick-starved pages (which converted them into folders on the Camera Tricks page) would be another option. Using TLP to give it a dedicated page instead of a folder would still be on the table if we did that; the folder would be a stopgap in that case.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. It's not quite a camera trick, though. Perhaps we need a new Production Tricks page.
Oh, I misunderstood.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. So, are we crownering, or should we call?
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallSince there are some cut votes without yarding, I'll give it a crowner.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAdvertised the crowner on ATT. Not that it's particularly needed, I just wanted to get some more eyes on it.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallHonestly I say just cut and don't yard. This is functionally no different from putting David Prowse in the Darth Vader suit to say lines and then overdubbing him with James Earl Jones. Also the title is non-indicative: I understand "reading in" to refer to clearing somebody for and then explaining classified material.

Calling in favor of cutting.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Didn't take long, so locking up.

Crown Description:
Reading In is not thriving, and it was proposed that it should be yarded as a trivia concept.
The page has existed since 2008, but there are only three real wicks and eight on-page examples, making it Starving per Wick. If this is given another chance in TLP, it should likely be made Trivia (doesn't sound like something that actually shows up in the work). Or there's always the Definition-Only Pages solution.
