Should there be a crystal clear guideline about what's considered a unilateral change and what isn't? I know that we have the Repair, Don't Respond maxim, but there are people who get surprised by the changes by a troper's big edit, and may not like it. There is even a thread for these kinds of changes, most notably done by a banned troper a year or two ago.
So again, should there be guidelines with these kinds of changes?
