Oftentimes here in Trope Talk, we get questions about whether or not a given trope is tropeworthy enough, or is an example of the kind of non-tropes discussed in People Sit on Chairs. These threads are extremely frequent, and per discussion
in the TRS meta thread, this megathread was created.
This will be a centralized place to ask: is this article I found tropeworthy? Does it convey meaning or is it used to tell the story, or is it just something that happens to exist in a work? Ask here, and hopefully you will get the answers you need.
Remember, something that is "(people sit on) chairs" means it's happenstance or conveys no meaning. Something that also happens in real life, is common, is rare, or seems minor is not the same as being chairs.
As an additional note, keep this in mind when bringing tropes in, as noted by amathieu13:

I agree with you: as far as I can tell, it's another "profession as trope" page, with no real plot content. (And one of the Webcomics entries is about a model in a life-drawing class, which seems like a stretch, no matter how attractive they are.)
Relatedly, did we ever decide what do to with Sequential Artist? Because I cannot for the life of me see a trope there, unless it's "Most Writers Are Writers but for comics", and even then, a bunch of examples are just "a comic book artist exists".

Could've sworn there was previous discussion and an entry on Tropes Needing TRS. It does look like Most Writers Are Writers with a bit of specificity.

Well, looks like another one for the ol' wick check and TRS Queue in that case. I'll sort that out when I have the time.

"The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".Here's
the last time Sequential Artist came up that I'm aware of; see also the thread I link to on the following page.
Is Stage Magician just "a magician exists" or "character happens to be a magician", or something more?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallAlways thought Stage Magician was meant to be the stereotypical description of them, but with the current laconic and name it's bound to attract misuse.
We also have Hocus Tropus index which has a lot of tropes about the classic tricks and portrayals of Stage Magician.

- The Film of the Book
- Novelization
- The Show of the Books (Has animation soft-split)
- The Anime of the Game
- Audio Adaptation
- Animated Adaptation
- Live-Action Adaptation
- Webcomic of the Game
- The Film of the Play
Are they really tropes? What context can they provide besides "an adaptation exists"? Is there a meaningful difference between them aside medium1-medium2?
Video Game Movies is at least an index, so I feel it'd make sense if others are, if not merged or moved to Trivia.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup
It sounds reasonable to make them indexes too, though an index is really just a list of pages with no or minimal context added to them, while adaptations can sometimes be more complex.
Indexes can still have entries with context; many do already. It's just not strictly required.
Macron's notesNote that the oldest Internet Archive copy
of The Film of the Book is full of commentary on the fidelity of adaptation and (implicitly, based on the use of Adaptation Decay to refer to deviations) how good it is. The application of Tropes Are Tools may have turned something originally intended to be analogous to The Problem with Licensed Games into "book-to-film adaptations exist".
That said, these sorts of pages could be viable as Trivia, which they currently aren't. (The fact they're so universally not-trivia makes me wonder if this has been debated before.)
Animated Adaptation might be tropeworthy as they tend to be adaptations of shows and films that are more adult-oriented, and because of the Animation Age Ghetto the adaptation tends to be dumbed down and/or simplified as a result. The page might need to be dramatically tightened and reworked in that case though, since it currently includes things like adaptations of comics.

Is ASCII Art more of a Useful Notes page, or a real trope?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallDoes Aspect Ratio seem like more of a Media Notes article to anyone else?
Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI think there are tropeworthy uses (e.g. 4:3 being used for retraux independent of Aspect Ratio Switch is the big one) but given the way it's written very BTS-y and has no examples on page, MN is probably the best way
I assume "behind the scenes?"
~Synchronicity Sorry to ping, Aegis and I just need clarification.

Saw Fanservice Model due to the recent video upload, and am not particularly sure if it merits a page? It's an almost entirely descriptive page about sexualised models and gravure idols, and I got Cam Whore, a similarly descriptive page about "characters being cam girls" cut a little while back though TRS for being untropeworthy. Surely "characters being sexy models" is similar?
