KamiKatsu is unabashedly horny, but it sorta works because MC is exploiting the horniness (and other base desires) of men for expanding his cult.
And the MC himself doesn't appear to be a perv.
Mid-Season Reactions:
Dr. Stone S3: So far, so good... Nothing remarkable though...
Watayuri: Hime and Mitsuki's backstory is pretty polarizing, is it? Either way, it really moves the heart, if only a bit, but I swear Kanoko might as well be yandere...
Opus.COLORs: Too obscure to talk about here, and honestly, for fairly obvious reasons... I'm still confused about the plot, for one...
Iseleve: Honestly by the numbers, but it's a miracle that I didn't get spoiled since it gets to streaming earlier than the television broadcast...
Yuusha ga Shinda!: Thankfully able to see this one way or another! Definitely no regrets in watching this too!
Ousama Ranking: Yuuki no Takarabako: Back for some side stories! They're all practically as wholesome as the main series ... well, save for EP 4 because that episode was pretty tragic...

I was so excited for Zelda coming out tomorrow, I almost forgot today was Dr. Stone day. This episode actually didn't get through as much as I thought it would, but I actually do like how it did spend it time. It wanted to make sure Soyuz got a proper introduction, not just breeze past him.
Also, Yuzuriha is best girl. She actually likes to learn the science!
Mid-Season Reactions:
Kawaisugi Crisis: The over-the-top reactions to cute animals from Liza kinda ended up getting a bit stale as the episodes went by, but despite that, one cannot deny the absolutely adorable huns in display!
Mashle: For someone who hasn't grown up with Harry Potter but has heard of how it goes, this might as well be the next best thing...
Birdie Wing S2: Hooray for more golf lesbians!! And with the fleshing out of the circumstances of Eve and Aoi's childhoods too! I do hope to see them reunited again by the finale!!
Magical Destroyers: The chronology might be all over the place, but this is actually pretty inspiring! Also, the OP fucking rocks and is my definite favorite of the season next to Mashle's!
Double posting for the last set of Mid-Season Reactions:
Tengoku Daimakyou: The one thing that is heavenly about this anime is in its engagement! Everything else is hell for me, especially with me having misjudged characters here.
Jigokuraku: I can see why this is popular, and IMO, this is definitely a contender for best in action this cour.
Edens Zero 2nd Season: So far, pretty heavy, especially when Drakken Joe shot Shiki. The build-up to the ultimate fight of this cour has definitely been well built, and I can't wait to see it!
Aside from the very-popular Oshi no Ko, Tengoku Daimakyou, My Home Hero, Jigokuraku, Magical Destroyers, Birdie Wing S2, and Mashle all take the cake for top anime of the cour in my book. Honorable mentions go to Yuusha ga Shinda! and KamiKatsu for balancing the risqué with the plot.

I'd put the Magical Destroyers as the best Opening of the Season (thoiugh Skip & Loafer is very close!) with Witch From Mercury as the best ED

The Marginal Service: Okay, I know this anime hasn't exactly wowed people right off the bat, but you gotta admit: An extremely attractive and capable female IT operator saving all of Japan during Christmas from her ex-boyfriend (or rather his virtual ghost)'s cybernetic virus by smashing said ex-boyfriend's supercomputer with a chair, all while doing it in her birthday suit and not even looking back at the large explosion behind her, is the stuff of legend.
Guys, I think I met my muse and her name is Lyra Candeyheart.
Ok, so, midseason upgrade from me. Just in alphabetial order without rankings.
"Oshi no Ko" is as good as manga. I partially forgot the earlier arcs as they seemed to look longer for me but I can say everything is executed masterfully. Kana's VA actually made me like her more (I am in "team Akane" and di not like kana much). Cannot say much more as it is just a great adaptation for manga fans. Still a bit salty it won't get to my favourite arc this season.
Birdie Wing: Golf Girls Story is as good as the first season. I was a bit concerned when they brough up all of the family drama after th pair championship but it got back to its course. Looks like the scriptwriter is going all out and it is good for me. Reminds me of some older Sunrise shows I liked.
Dead Mount Death Play is fun. Narita never disappoints when it comes to urban fantasy with colorful cast and webbed plot. And he delivered again. Plus I was concerned about the studio but they are doing a good job so far.
Jigokuraku is good. I rarelly watch shounens but this type of more bloody and mture one in historical setting i up my alley (unlike Demon Slayer, sorry fans). It is not perfect but I really dig it.
Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia is just a great romane/So L series with just right amount of drama and likeble characters. I am still not sure which romance I watch is better: this or Toni Kawa. And I am also glad they did not typecasted one of my favorite V As (Haruka Tomatsu) for once. She has a great range but gets pigenholed a lot in later years.
Otonari ni Ginga is probably the weakest of romance/So L shows I watch. Still fluffy and mildly enjoyable. Also, M Cs younger sister carries a lot of the shows charm. I am glad her VA escaped typical child actress fate and is still getting roles.
Tengoku Daimakyou is odd but great. I really dig the story and characters and the staff makes a lot of effort with it. I pray it won't flop.
Tonikaku Kawaii 2 is just comfy. This is the type of romance comedy I can watch for many more seasons.
And that's all for now.
I really want to catch up with Mahotsukai no Yome but still could not find time for it. Also, both Skip and Loafer and Jijou o Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru. seem like my kind of shows. Maybe I'll watch them later this year.

In Otaku Elf, episode 4 shows that both Elda and Yolde have Mikoto in their titles, is Mikoto a settlement or a building?
Goo.ne presents it (link in Japanese) as a title more than anything. Usually written with kanji meaning "respect" or "life," it's a title attached to the names of gods, and comes from an honorific form of "to speak."
Incidentally, Elda's full title is "Honored Long-Eared Princess."
It's been fun.The plot got real on today's Dr. Stone. The Kingdom of Science has been petrified! When reading the manga, one of my problems with this arc - really, from this point until the end of the story - was that the individual chapters were often paced TOO quickly. Sometimes the flow from scene-to-scene could be pretty jarring. So I've been hoping the anime would be able to smooth some of that over, and with today's I think it does that. So, good sign going forward.
Interesting to hear that the Dr. Stone anime might be alleviating the breakneck pace of the manga.
Well, how it'll handle pacing chapter-to-chapter is still up in the air. We aren't at that point yet.
Another point about Otaku Elf is if it should have a WMG page.
Bring a guess and you probably could start one, I think.

Wake me up at your own risk.Episode 8 of Jigokuraku is the Tenza spotlight episode I’ve been waiting to get animated. And so far I’ve been pleased with the reactions to it online haha.
Urgh. Thankfully, this season is not as bad with scheduling as the previous one but still, a bunch of shows taking a 1-week break either this or next week.

That's because of some tennis thing, right? Not really production woes.
Oh, the Table Tennis thing in South Africa, eh? Ahhh no wonder...
Hell's Paradise might be my favorite shounen anime since Jujutsu Kaisen. The main character could be a little more lively, but that's made up for the cast and others around him.
As for the latest episode, what does (Ura)mimi mean in english?
Of Jigokuraku? What context does it show up in?
It's been fun. They’re probably talking about Otaku Elf, and I think “ura” means “reverse” but I’m not sure how that applies to ears.
Another one that stands on the line, huh?
Wake me up at your own risk.
