Paging ~Acebrock to the thread. Anyway, I agree with cutting.
You can't always get what you want. This feels like a non-fantastic version of Broken Masquerade and could probably be moved to Yard. May be even more tropeworthy as a broader "Threatening to (or doing it) publish someone's secret to the press as an attempt to blackmail", because Intrepid Reporter heroes do this all the time.

TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI'd be fine with Yarding in addition to cutting.
You can't always get what you want.Cut and Yard
OBJECTION!Cut and yard.
No apparent YKTTW, dates back to 2009, old enough to have an archived discussion, snarky description that wouldn't fly today, nonstandard example section, and one that was completely blank until 2011 and didn't have any fictional examples until 2014, non-crosslinked of course, accounting of two of eight edits, including adding the banner, since 2011. Exclusive: Sunday Leaked Document To Be Yarded.

That’s 17 cut/yard votes. I think we can waive the rule on this one.

Macron's notesWicks gone, page cut, and entry written up in the Yard. Locking up.
Note: This thread was proposed by Acebrock.
Outside of administrivia and sandbox pages, this has two pages linking to it. It's probably the worst starved trope page I have ever seen. I say cut it and be done with it.
