Aw, they even did an animatic
of Magnifico and Amaya being a villain couple?
Geez, how did they bungle it this hard? Now it's just begging for a Wha Happen? from Matt McMuscles.
At this point they might as well release the rest of the storyboards as a movie.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Trivia.Wish 2023 has a lot of links to the deleted scenes and storyboard ideas.
It feels like they wanted to simplify what seemed like a much more complex story but either went too far or didn't go far enough, given the contention around Magnifico.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Wish is doing big numbers on Disney Plus
.
"Per Variety, Wish drew 13.2 million viewers within five days upon releasing on April 3 on Disney+. This is the No. 3 most-viewed streaming platform premiere for a release from Walt Disney Animation Studios."
The Protomen enhanced my life. Not that this means much if it doesn't mean actual new subscribers too.
Disney Plus was a mistake for Disney in general. Not that this means I will stop using it — I sure don't give a shit if a company makes a bad decision if it means I get more entertainment.

Disgusted, but not surprisedGotta love the press's repeated touting of the "Third most viewed Disney animated premier!" line, when there have been five. It has beaten exactly Strange World and Raya. That Overly Narrow Superlative is clearly designed to hide how awful it looks next to Pixar, with its viewership being roughly half of Elemental's.
Does anyone actually read these?
I'm not sure if you meant for that to be the most brutal Damned by Faint Praise post of all time, but either way, damn.
And look, I legit like Home on the Range. Yet I don't feel any need to justify Home on the Range's existence, or to boost its popularity, or to vouch for it, or to say it'll become an appreciated classic in the future. Because it won't, and you know what? That's fine. At the end of the day it's still just a movie.
So what if everyone hates Home on the Range. I am fine with liking Home on the Range myself. I'm secure in my liking of Home on the Range.

Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.
Good, you put your money where your mouth is then. But I wasnt thinking about Home In The Range, I meant more Encanto and the three Pixar movies that couldnt have flopped harder, they were liked on streaming, but this box office is what matters logic indicates kids liked them as much as they do spinach.
The Damning With Faint Praise bit is that it's only one kid who enjoyed part of Wish.
Funny, I thought Disney movies were meant to appeal to all ages.
And are you seriously suggesting that people who take issue with Wish are taking animation too seriously? That's a pretty rude way to dismiss criticism.

Disgusted, but not surprised

If Magnifico shows up in the Descendants movies, who could play him? Also, I could easily see him having a son named Magnus and/or a daughter named Magna. Haha.
