"Yeah, I've known him for a while now. Joey and I can both vouch for the Pha-"
Joey keeps an eye on Chara as he comes back. Even Yugi spares a glance at him, but doesn't say anything about it. Instead, he addresses Mabel.
"Mabel, right? If it means anything, I don't think you were being stupid checking on Chara. Heck, Joey used to bully me, and I still made sure he was okay when a bigger bully beat him up. It was just the right thing to do."

"Hello." Bazett nods in acknowledgement to Harry. "I'm curious, Lancer."
"Hm?" Lancer says through a full mouth.
"What are they? Are they... human? Servants?"
"Mm, don't think so." Lancer swallows his food, before continuing. "Seems like most of them are human. As you can imagine, some are magi, though more powerful than I expected. Others seem to be... hm... gifted. Like that kid over there." Lancer points to Yugi.
"That guy has like a pharaoh within his amulet. If I didn't know that I would've assumed he was a Pseudo-Servant. The pharaoh seems to possess him at times."
"Interesting... What does that make you, Mr...?" Bazett turns to Harry ask she asks.

Now that he was back with the group, and looking to be doing everything in his power to avoid looking at Joey and Kanami, Chara's gaze fell on the others present. They looked to be much the same as when he'd left, though he took notice of at least one new arrival.
Rather than actively engage with anyone, however, the boy took to pacing the perimeter of the group's enclosure to try and keep himself from going stir crazy, all while trying to listen in on conversations around him.
"They're not your friends, Chara. You'd do well to remember that." He muttered to himself, this time making damned sure that Yugi wasn't anywhere near him when he said it.

Yone, Okinawa Celebration
Yone kept quiet for most of the celebration, just observing the crowd. The newcomer was an interesting fellow and seemed to be… off, in Yone’s opinion. Like something was troubling him. He was still pondering the whole situation. How did he end up here? Could he ever get back? Will he get back? Maybe Yasuo was here, but Yone wasn’t sure if Yasuo was ready to see him here. Regardless, he was sure that he’d find out sooner or later. The child that had talked to him earlier caught his eye. He appeared to be pacing, and looked quite stressed. Walking over to him, Yone asked “Are you all right, child? You seem to be… troubled. Something on your mind? And by the way, what’s your name? I don’t think I know.”
It builds character.Okinoka Celebration
"Ah, welcome back! Sweater Girl's name is Mabel!" Kanami explained after waving hello to Ramona once more, then lowered her voice so as not to be heard by said Sweater Girl. "She's not in a great mood, but if you're looking for her, she's right over there!" The blue-eyed woman gestured in the female Pines twin's direction.
Conversations continued for a bit, but ultimately went nowhere important, so after several minutes, Kanami decided now was as good a time as any to raise her voice again and call to the table:
"Attention! Your attention, please! Now that everyone's hopefully had their fill of food and drink, we should go and speak with the Daimyo! I happen to know where his house - palace? - is, since I've been in this town before, so if you would, follow me~!"
With that, she turned and began strolling out of the park and down the lane with Coppelia following behind her, pausing and looking back to make sure the rest of the group was coming along, and then continuing on her merry way, humming a tune.
Daimyo's Estate
Ultimately, Kanami came to a stop before a large wooden gate built into the towering walls surrounding the Daimyo's complex. After a brief chat with a pair of apprehensive guards, they were ushered in and escorted through the wooden halls to a large room floored with tatami mats and lined on both sides with cushions, meant to host meetings with the head honcho himself. And so they approached the Daimyo of the province, who was seated in seiza on a cushion of his own, centered against the far wall.
Kanami and Coppelia, for their parts, took a pair of cushions on the far left, closest to the big man. Like him, they sat in proper, polite seiza, though who knows how many of the foreigners would be practiced in doing the same...

"A lot of things are on my mind. I don't have time or space to process them right now." Chara retorted, thankfully holding back on the irritation for the time being. "...And my name's Chara."
Before he could say anything else, the call to go meet the Daimyo was given, and even though Chara didn't particularly want to meet him, he followed along all the same if only because someone would likely drag him by the arm if he didn't. Once there and in the Daimyo's chambers, the boy remained standing, even though there was an available cushion right next to him.
Proud member of the AGOG community.Magolor (Daimyo's Estate)
"Hello, Mr. Daimyo!"
With all the social grace of someone who had never actually had formal meetings before, Magolor cheerily floated into the room and grabbed the daimyo's hand to shake it. "I'm Magolor, you might've heard of me, I was one of the people who fought the amanojaku—pleasure to meet you! Is there anywhere you think we should be right now?"
Cutting right to the chase, this one.
"Look inside yourself and to the stars; there, you will find your answers."Bazett Fraga McRemitz & Lancer Cú Chulainn, Okinoka
Never heard of it. Bazett sighed inwardly, but she supposed that was to be expected from people brought from... elsewhere. "As I thought, I don't recognize that place at all." she says to Harry.
When the call to meet the Daimyo came, Bazett shot Lancer a look, to which he shrugged and got up, snagging one last piece from the table.
"...You don't need to eat." Bazett reminds him.
"Doesn't mean I don't like it, Master." Cú snorts, chowing down as they walked to the Daimyo's room.
Bazett, upon entering, sat the farthest from the Daimyo, trying her best to copy the seating position Kanami and Coppelia were in. She hadn't been in Japan for very long, but she knew a little bit about their culture, and if it was anything like Okinoka's, then she had to be careful not to offend anyone. Cú Chulainn moved to sit with her, and she had to stop herself from combing tangles out from her hair.
"You should go sit with the others." Bazett quietly urged Lancer. "You were here before me. You had time to be among them."
However, Lancer smiled and replied, "Whaddya mean? Wouldn't really be chivalrous if I let a lady such as yourself sit alone."
Bazett gulped, and turned away from Lancer to fix her expression. "Very well, come sit next to me. Copy what they're doing." she tilts her head towards Kanami and Coppelia, and Lancer obliged, sitting in seiza beside Bazett.
You piss off the Venom T-Rex. Roll initiative.Yone, Okinawa Celebration to Daimyo’s Estate
“Well, then, just make sure you don’t let negative emotions overtake you.” Before Yone could offer more advice, he heard Kanami’s announcement. A daimyo… what was that? Maybe they had answers. He began following the group to the estate. The place seemed fancy, and Yone decided it was best to keep quiet until the time was right to speak. He noticed a few of the others were sitting in a certain way. Was this common courtesy here? If it was, he’d better do the same. Yone made his way to a cushion away from the others on the left, and copied the way they sat. He hoped the man had answers.
It builds character. You and the pale elf had followed the lead of the others as they went to meet this Daimyo. From the way you looked at the elf's behaviour and expression, it seemed like he was disappointed the party had been cut short.
"Hm. A bit...less fancy that Baldur's Gate, but I suppose not everyone can be as good as the architects of that city." You saw the elf musing to himself as he examined the Daimyo's Estate. Eventually, you two and the others would arrive to where the Daimyo was. It didn't took a mage to tell that those cushions were for those meeting the leader would sit upon, as you saw some do so as well. ...It wasn't clearly fit for a Dragonborn of your size, but fortunately, you managed to find a way to sit on it. Meanwhile, the pale elf sat by your side, but he was very much not pleased about it. "Gods. Not even bothering with chairs or sofas? These people are quite the savages."
"Different societys work in different ways, Astarion..."
"Oh, darling, these people very much don't care for their back if they think sitting like this is perfectly okay. I have standards, you know?"

Okinoka
Agahnim, still looking as impassible as ever, yet actually watchful of everything also acknowledged the next wave of fellow outsiders with a silent nod, before following the party into the Daimyo's estate.
A wooden palace. How unimpressive. Even the Gerudo Fortress, where Ganon once lived as a mortal was more impressive and most importantly impregnable. But this? A simple fire would be enough to turn it into ashes.
Though he was unaware of the proper customs of this land, Agahnim was very observant, and of course, he had a lot of experience with formal reunions such as this, courtesy of his alter-ego's experiences with the King of Hyrule when he was still called Ganondorf, cultivating his favor.
Before he murdered him and took over Hyrule once his purpose had run out, of course, but that was another story.
Thus, the cloaked priest calmly said a "Lord Daimyo." as a greeting before sitting on the right side of the Daimyo in seiza as well, as if he had done this all of his life. He took this opportunity to briefly observe the group, some who have already proven more... "open" to Ganon's perverse ideals than others.
With Chara among the first in line, with the child refusing to sit, either out of pride or more likely out of anguish. There was also the imp who didn't act like the others, but that one was acting out of complete ignorance and naivety, and the elf, who was already complaining. The pride and lack of patience of this one certainly amused Ganon's alter-ego, it was telling that the Dragonkin was the one to correct him.

AND I'VE STILL BLOCKED OFF MY BALL!! FUCK!!Ramona Flowers and The Unexpected Adventure!
Ramona doesn't know how she got dragged into whatever the group's doing. She was only supposed to ask Mable about those monsters that she mentioned and go home, but she somehow ended up in Daimyo's Estate. She guessed that Kanami might have somehow convinced her to join them in their adventure. Luckily, she clocked out before this so she wouldn't get scolded by her boss.
Ramona doesn't really know what to do at this point, so she stood back at the door and said: "If anyone needs me to get something or if you have somewhere else to go for a moment, let me know." She figured that she might be able to use Subspace for other reasons other than for her delivery job.
Daimyo's Estate (Yugi and Joey)

{I...think I can handle this, Pharaoh. But I'll ask if I think I need you to step in. It might be a good idea to talk to the Daimyo as subordinates, rather than have a foreign dead king join in.}
{...An astute observation.}

Dipper was definitely worried about Mabel, make no mistake. But now wasn't the time to address it. Too many eyes on her. Even if he prodded, she wouldn't budge. He knew his sister. It would 'make things awkward'. So instead he re-focused on the here and now. Better that way, there was still a lot about this place to take in.
Like this big estate that Kanami was leading them to. Traditional Japanese architecture, for sure. This whole place was very Japanese, had they actually transported to another world or was this just an alternate Earth? These were questions he asked himself, doing a little sketch of the building in an empty page of the Journal.
Even Mabel was marveling at her surroundings. "Wow, look at this place! I'm pretty sure we've just walked into one of Soos' Japanese animes now, 'cuz like, we are so gonna have to bow to some guy who probably calls himself 'Demon King Nobby Naga'. Ooh! Are we gonna get kimonos? Aaaaaah that would make this so worth it! They better have one of those huge ribbon ball things you could knock out a grown man with!"
"I think those are called obi," Dipper said offhandedly, "I always thought a nice Hakama would suit me. Something about the way they flow in the wind, especially if you're about to have a swordfight."
He looked up from the journal to see Mabel nudging him with her elbow, as if to say 'nudge nudge wink wink'. "Heeeeey, look at you, Mr. Fashion! And here I thought you were just too lazy to wear more than one outfit!"
Dipper rolled his eyes. "For your information, I have multiples."
By this time, they'd already made it into the main hall, and saw everyone sitting down on those cushions on the floor, genuflecting before the Daimyo. Ugh, he hated this sort of thing, grovelling before some oh-so important big shot. Was he even supposed to have his shoes on?
...Juuuuust to be safe, he slipped his shoes off before kneeling down - as stupid as all this pomp and ceremony was, he knew he had little to gain from getting his head chopped off for insubordination, and he hoped that Mabel might be able to smooth over any rough edges in their upcoming meeting.
He chose to sit near Yugi and Joey. Despite the rough start they'd gotten, he was honestly pretty curious about his whole deal with the Pharoah, and... honestly, he could kinda relate to him right now. Take the Pharoah out of it and he's just another kid thrown into a weird world, same as him. Besides, Mabel had their eyes on them, too - or Joey, to be precise. As soon as she sat down, she turned around and looked at that Chara kid, who was standing up.
"Hey, what gives? C'mon, sit down," she attempted to verbally nudge him into doing so, giving him The Eyes. "Don't worry, I can handle Konami. I've got the Konami Code, ya could say!"
Dipper's attention was soon turned to that floating blue guy - Magolor, his name was - just rushing straight for the Daimyo, as well as that elf looking dude obviously complaining under his breath about something. He looked over at the elf, actually. Something about him didn't sit right. For that matter, the priest-looking guy was also looking kinda suspect. He was pretty sure he was looking at Chara and that dragon sitting next to the elf. There was something in his eyes, that barely-disguised manic look. Reminded him of a certain homicidal, possessive psycho kid...
He made another quick note in the Journal - scratch 'trust no one' for now. Amendment: trust no-one wearing a cloak.

"It's not...whatever. Fine. I'll be a good boy." Chara said, visibly rolling his eyes but doing as Mabel suggested and sitting down. As he did so, he noticed Dipper's own state of inattention, and spoke up to get his attention, albeit in a quieter voice.
"If you're trying to watch someone, don't look directly at them. You'll give yourself away."

Lara Croft: Daimyo's Estate
Following the group, having gotten rather tired of socialisation, Lara entered into the estate with the others, adopting a slightly more ladylike posture as she did so. She looked well-practiced, as if she'd done this many times before, even specifically in a Japanese context. So when it came to seating herself in the Daimyo's chambers, she immediately followed procedure and removed her boots, before kneeling in the seiza position much like Kanami on a spare tatami mat.
"Thank you very much for allowing us to visit you, Daimyo-sama," she said in a polite tone, since she didn't know his name. "We have a list of concerns and a strange situation that we're in, but I'll defer to the likes of Kanami and the others to explain in more detail. My own concerns are rather... particular, and not to be led with in the conversation."
It was like night and day. She was well-spoken before, but always had a sardonic or impatient tinge to her voice. Now, she sounded almost like a completely different person.
"May we request your name first, so we can address you in the proper way?" she asked after a moment. She was still clad in her party dress, which was hardly modest, so she hoped he wouldn't take offense to it.
borkDaimyo's Estate
The Daimyo sat crosslegged at the far end of the room, dressed in a black robe trimmed with gold. A table sat between him and his guests, with a shallow bowl of piping hot green tea atop it. He sat with a neutral expression, his eyes closed in contemplation for the most part. It wasn't until Magolor rushed up and shook his hand that he looked up.
The Daimyo gave him a hard stare. "Where you should be now, Magolor-san, is taking a seat and observing proper decorum." The young mage suddenly found a guardsman looming over him, who would proceed to lead him over to an empty cushion, and all but shove him into place. Meanwhile, the rest of the party took their seats and made respectful greetings
Having cooled his temper, the Daimyo said "Very well," and took a sip of his tea before greeting the group at large.
"I am Lord Shio, Daimyo of Ashihara, second-youngest brother of Emperor Tokushi, and I owe you all a great debt of thanks. My son, Prince Taichi, is married at last to the young Uriko-hime, who herself has been introduced to her cousin, the great hero Momotaro. None of this would be possible without your intervention, and the casting out of a terrible fiend in nothing less than spectacular fashion."
At this, he gave a nod and a half-smile to Yugi.
"Peace has been restored, and the city shall soon return to normal life. However, it must be noted that not all of my citizens are quite so grateful. There is discontent amongst my guardsmen and their relatives for the brutal tactics used against their comrades, many of whom are lucky to be alive."
He cast his gaze on Lara at this point.
"Nevertheless, I do not condemn you. My entire palace staff were in the thrall of terrible powers. We had all looked into the very eye of evil, and it was uncertain how we might break free. You chose what seemed a necessary tactic at the time and fought with dispassionate efficiency. In another life, you might have made a fine soldier."
He took another sip of his tea, then stared into it as if grimly contemplating the bottom of the cup.
"With that being said...it is a shame that the amanojaku itself was not captured alive, as now it cannot be interrogated. There are factions in this land who would work against the crown through means both strange and terrible. We cannot with certainty know that this creature acted on its own accord, or was merely the tool of a greater conspiracy. If you strange travellers seek a new adventure, then I would appreciate you uncovering the truth of this matter."
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Lara Croft: Daimyo's Estate
"We have... similar goals, with many of us searching for things we have lost. I'm sure that we will be able to uncover this... particular mystery regarding the evils plaguing this land," Lara said after a moment. "I also am very grateful for your forgiveness, Shio-sama, though I would still like to apologise formally for my actions towards your guardsmen. The experience dug into some very fresh wounds, so to speak, regarding the likes of undead thralls... so I quickly assumed that the men under charm were completely compromised. I thought it a matter of mercy. But knowing now it was only temporary... I can only regret that terrible mistake. Please, give their families my condolences and apologies, if they accept them..."
Sighing through her nose, she pursed her lips in thought, looking down at the floor for a moment as her eyes darted to her allies momentarily. The truth was, while she did feel regret to a certain extent, she still thought her actions were justified. The Daimyo himself seemed to concede that she had done her best in an unknown circumstance, cruel as it had been. If anything, the apology was more for the sake of politeness, and she knew that the families of the few guardsmen she had shot down would not be so understanding of her reasons.
It was reasonable. It had to be. How else could she have put down her own-
"There's a certain matter of artefacts, belonging to several of us. Magical, or merely advanced in technology, from each of our lands. They are likely to be misused by whoever finds them," she decided to say, cutting off her own inner dialogue. "In regards to my own; a segmented, curved greatsword of black and green, with the power to shoot projectiles of magic. Its name is Excalibur, or Caliburn, and even in its segmented state its individual parts are able to be used to empower its wielder. The other artefact that belongs to me—or set of artefacts, I should say—are the short-handled warhammer Mjolnir, with the power to control lightning, and its associated relics; the strength-bolstering belt and gauntlets of Thor. They all have a runic design, so they're unlikely to be missable. I would... like to ask of you, Shio-sama, given your unique position, if you could perhaps spare the resources to conduct a search for these artefacts, or the ones belonging to my allies? I'll let them explain their own missing objects of interest..."

borkDaimyo's Estate
Chara wasn't wrong. Dipper's attention toward Agahnim hadn't gone unnoticed by the priest as he briefly looked back at him with the same stoical calm expression as usual.
Perhaps a threat. Nay, a nuisance, at best. One that will still have to be taken care of should it grow too great.
In the meantime, Agahnim calmly observed as the foolish imp was forced back into his place. With that settled, the Daimyo introduced himself at last.
"We understand Shio-Sama. Though Lady Croft and our other comrades sought to do what we believed best for your guardsmen, unnecessary bloodshed could have also been avoided. It is a regret we all share. We can only hope to make amends for our deeds."
Of course, he actually had no regrets for the few mortals that ended up being killed, especially those by the monsters Ganon created. They were but weaklings. Cowards. Meatshields. How fortunate for them that Ganon deemed the outsiders and that town useful.
And speaking of fortunate, the Lord of the region made a very interesting theory. That the Amanojaku didn't act alone.
An absolute delight.
Whether it was alone or a pawn of a greater force, the Amanakoju was and had proven itself a pathetic thing compared to Ganon and the might of the Triforce. If these factions relied on such weak tools to project their influence they were doomed to fail. If these were led by true demons such as Ganon instead of mortal greedy men who coveted this kingdom, they could also be rivals that needed to be destroyed.
But perhaps, no matter the case, they could also be corrupted into something greater, should they be made to serve the one true King.
And luckily for Agahnim/Ganon, he had two bodies. That was an advantage he intended to use well, with the puppet staying with those so-called "heroes", the actual Prince of Darkness investigating on his own.
Of course, Agahnim showed none of that enthusiasm, instead furrowing his brows in concern.
"What you said is indeed a frightening thing. There is no saying the creature would have spoken, but such a threat cannot be taken lightly, nor can we allow them to seize the artifacts of my comrades. We shall do what must be done to protect your realm." the wizard solemnly said before raising respectfully his head at the Lord.
"I ask you to forgive me for such a question, my Lord Shio, I understand this may be a state secret. But if you have warned us of these factions, I believe you suspect they were behind other unfortunate incidents before our arrival. What information would you have about those factions?"

AND I'VE STILL BLOCKED OFF MY BALL!! FUCK!!Magolor (Daimyo's Estate)
Magolor blinked, several times, as he was brought over to a cushion and all but shoved into a sitting position. "Sorry, sorry— am I being a lot? Sometimes, I can be a lot. I've never actually done this before—I mean, I know a king, but he's actually a really casual guy so I don't have to be all formal and stuff, I'm not really good at the whole proper decorum thing, being direct is a lot easier for me so—"
Thankfully, the daimyo talking got him to shut up.
Magolor noticeably puffed up with pride at the praise for how well they'd done against the amanojaku...though he winced a bit under his scarf at the confirmation that a lot of innocents got hurt in the process. "Sorry, sorry...I tried to minimize that, I'm really sorry about everyone who got hurt...or...died..."
The next words, however, caused his eyes to pop open, and he nearly shot off his cushion. "Wait, a conspiracy?!" That could not mean good things, not for this world or...oh no, wait a minute.
"Oh no, we have to find them!" Magolor looked between the others, a frantic look in his eyes. "What if they get their hands on the Energy Spheres?! If someone like the amanojaku were able to travel between worlds, then—!"
He stopped himself, forced himself to breathe, then sank back onto the cushion. "...well, okay, they wouldn't be able to do much with the Spheres alone, they'd need the Lor for traveling and she would be deeply unhappy if they tried...but still, we need to collect all our missing items right away!"
Magolor looked at the daimyo. "Have you or your men seen any, um, large gears encased in orbs of magic?"
(It occurred to him then that he really didn't know how to describe the Spheres. He probably should've, huh.)
"Look inside yourself and to the stars; there, you will find your answers."

Ramona Flowers and The Group Reunification
After Chara began to walk back to the group, Ramona thought that she should leave as well. During her stay with Chara, she noticed that he wasn't really feeling all that well. So when she skated past Chara, she for some reason decided to say one last nice thing to him. "Good luck with all your troubles, kid."
Ramona was already far ahead before Chara could respond to that.
Ramona started skating towards Kanami's voice, seeing as Mabel followed her voice. After skating past Plum Grove, she she saw Kanami. She carefully skated to her. "You're... Kanami, right?" She asked while trying to recall their first meeting. "Have you seen the girl with the sweater? I need to talk to her about something."
