Notes:
- Ayakashi Triangle, Onimai, and Reborn to Master the Blade are all genderbenders. I'd say Ayakashi Triangle is the only one that dabbles in transfetishism, but Onimai looks significantly sexed-up from the manga
- Kaina is not related to Aposimz. Nihei was just working on two stories about frozen wastelands at the same time
- Tomo-chan Is a Girl is my bet for the being the season's main source of Discourse. ...I'm with the haters on this one
- The production values of the various LN adaptions scales pretty closely to the actual quality of the story. Though I feel like Roukin 8 and Strongest Exorcist should have been swapped
- Nokemono is not, in fact, a monster-fucker romance. It's one of those gothic action series clearly written by and for females but still runs in a shounen mag
Having read the L Ns, I'm really looking forward to the adaptation of Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess.
From what I've read so far that story is definitely a step-up for the isekai genre, and the relationship is between the lead girls is very good. I also like the twist on the whole "denouncing and publicly humiliating the villainess" trope that starts the whole series. Although, just in case anyone gets the wrong idea, the main character has not been reincarnated as the villainess.
Sugar apple fairytale is, uh, weird, it doesn't glorify the slavery but it kind of oscillates between treating it with severity and thinking the MC simply promising to let the main dude go once he'd safely escorted her and trying to be his friend on the way is enough to make everything fine. In a similar vein a character steals the MC's contest prize as well as everything she traveled with, pours animal blood on her so that wolves can attack all this after spending their time together pretending to care about her and then when she meets him she just punches him once and says she's satisfied as he didn't do much MUCH worse than that to her
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysIronically, similar works are super popular in former USSR also. Just with older M Cs normally and rarelly harem.

Anime never stops
A big season. Both in the sense that there's a lot of shows, and in that there's a good number of big names in there
