There is one thing I wonder about the whole reservation system I just thought of. How are we gonna handle this in terms of Fan Works especially Fanfic? Since the thing with that is there is no set time for when it ends, chapters for it get released whenever the author feels like it, and when it ends varies very massively.

I believe a specific date yes, I personally would allow wiggle room for something as specific "coming March 2023", but that's me.
I would say at least the month would be best. Which works out because in general, when things get release dates, it's down to the exact date. If now and then a book is coming by Reilly or something you want to grab that says "spring 2024", I personally would be fine with you grabbing something like that.

No! That is NOT Solid Snake! Stop impersonating him!I personally prefer specific release date but I'm not going to complain if release month is chosen.
I don't think we should allow that. I recall one of the mods saying (with the mod hat on) that people reserving works years in advance is a problem and a work being announced can happen a long time before its release.

Yes, I believe the decision was "it needs a release date", at least for the trial run. Most of this stuff was already went over and is detailed in the Thread Suggestions, I just wanted to bring up the "2 per namespace" bit because I feel that didn't get much attention earlier and deserved some more discussion (which several folks are agreeing with my idea to remove the namespace limitation, so it definitely needed some more eyes, IMO)

No! That is NOT Solid Snake! Stop impersonating him!Yeah, that's another reason I don't really think the "2 per namespace" is required. If someone happens to use their 5 reservations to grab 4 movies, tv shows, fanfics, etc. and someone else wants in on one or all of them, the collaboration option is still open in most cases. The logistics of the 5 reservation limit plus encouraging more collaboration kind of eliminates the need for further restrictions like "only 2 movies at a time per person", to me.

No! That is NOT Solid Snake! Stop impersonating him!Yh I think 2 per name space is a bit too much because that may be the troper's preferred form of media (not an anime fan or literature fan etc.) Having a look at the reservations for the MCU films, it is a mixed bag with who's got what and doesn't seem to be hogged by anyone individually tbh.
What's wrong D-16? Rise up!

I'm with Ravok here, I don't think the additional constraint is necessary.
