Yeah, I'm not particularly a Gundam fan, so it's going to come down to the character writing for me. And part of what makes good character writing is not pulling bait-and-switches... or at least, acknowledging that no one is going to be happy if they write themselves into a situation where Elan and Suletta kiss at the end of an episode and then they immediately launch into the ED where Suletta's rubbing noses with Miorine.
If that's the choice they want to go for, they totally can, it's just not something that will interest me or keep me around.
(I guess IBO made a stab at polyamory, but none of these characters have a substantial dynamic with each other yet. It's just that Miorine and Suletta are all over the promo material and the Utena, uh, homage going on.)

It's been fun.I doubt Elan is gonna be the main love interest even if he gets to kiss Suletta. Even Utena kisses two dudes in her own series (though her relationship with them is far from healthy).

Continue writing our story of peace. Two out of three source materials point towards Suletta and Miorine getting together, assuming that they survive.
Continue writing our story of peace.I love Miorine's expression in this Japanese Pun meme
The artist even uploaded an exploitable version of it!
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!History in general would suggest that it's far more likely that all the contextual clues and suggestive openings and endings are more likely to turn out to be yuri bait than for even the flimsiest straight couple to be picked. Most of the time, the best outcome is just not introducing a straight romance and leaving it somewhat open-ended.
Sure, there's being optimistic about it, but it's not like there isn't precedent here.

Careful, that might happen if they decide to make a game out of this one.
Wake me up at your own risk.

Delling sorta gives me Patrick Zala vibes, in that he's dead-set in his authority and on most occasions won't take no for an answer. That being said, he may have to seriously step up his game if everyone is starting to work against him. An ex-military guy like him probably won't take everything lying down.
